I'm completely retarded about clothing. So, i've decided to pretty much start from scratch to prevent looking like an idiot. So, what sort of basics should i have? At the moment, i've got some tee's with designs in diff colours, pretty much nothing in the shorts category, a pair of straight cut jeans (a bit tight around the thighs, but i'm a rower), and some navy vans. At the moment it's Navy vans, a simple white t with some beach design and the jeans. Which apparently is rather hard to fuck up. Anyway, appreciate the help.

might as well right? Im working for in a cocktail lounge. The place itself is pretty dim and the floors are black so I guess they dont want to wear anything that would stand out

If you stick with the hard to fuck up stuff (but nothing wrong with trying to be creative if you're confident enough) and pay attention to tips and other examples, then eventually you'll find out the basics.

Shoulders in that jacket are too wide, pants need to be hemmed, that shirt your wearing looks pretty bad, and the shoes are terrible in this context. Fix those few things and you'd be good to go. Also MSPaint stars on sweaters are a total faux pas. :v:

Out most of the time, keeping it in might make it a bit more formal though (my view on it), and in is also good if you're wearing a tie with it I guess
