Yes it is GUESS. So it's too heavy? I do live in Texas as well, so I don't really need a heavy jacket with tons of shit on it. It sure does look nice though.
How is this for a lighter coat?

I meant that I don't like the extra zippers and such on the jacket. The jacket does have a fair heft to it, for me it works out well in Chicago winter.
Yes, I suppose the zippers above the top pockets are a little weird, but otherwise it looks pretty nice with the pockets. Still, I doubt I need such a heavy jacket living in Texas. The coldest it really ever gets here is 20-30 degrees fahrenheit which is probably 0 to -5 celsius
[editline]22nd October 2012[/editline]
however, when it snows and i have to stand outside for extended periods of time it can be rather nice having a thick coat. i just don't want to shell out 200 dollars for two coats so i'll probably get the lighter more casual one

What the fuck, I live in Tennessee and it is warmer here in the winter.
Yeah our winters tend to be quite cold, though really it depends. On average I'd say its in the 40s, probably about 6-8 celsius
[editline]22nd October 2012[/editline]
i'm working on my celsius measurements so i dont look like an idiot american when the requirement of knowing celsius temperatures eventually presents itself

40's isn't quite bad.
Dips below 20 quite a bit in my part of texas.
We still only get like.. a half inch of snow every year though.

yes, it dips below 20 quite a bit here too. still, I'd say 40 is average from december-february. Maybe 30s are average. where do you live? I live right outside of dallas
last year we got no snow, on the other hand, two years ago we got probably a foot of snow or more.
I always seem to have dark spots under my eyes, Even when I'm well rested, No difference.

actually kind of ugly to be honest
[editline]22nd October 2012[/editline]
whatever though, it's not as if you can fix up eye circles or eye color. or, at least that's what i've come to accept over the years of trying bullshit creams and remedies to eye circles. just bad genetics
it snows in texas? and here i was thinking i could get away with just a hoodie when i move there
is a winter coat necessary?
also the jackets you posted look good imo
It snows in Texas, yes. Not to say that there's snow on the ground all winter; generally about two to three weeks of the year snow is on the ground. Last year it didn't even snow at all. A winter coat may be necessary if you plan on standing outside for an extended period of time... when snow is on the ground a jacket may not suffice. It's good to have one just in case.

Literally any snow on the ground here freaks out all the rednecks and they all go buy bread and milk.

i think it looks good but for whatever reason i'm into non camo military looking shit so i'd better get a second opinion
[editline]22nd October 2012[/editline]
the zippers are kind of weird but whatever other than that it looks pretty ok to me, especially in black
i have a jacket that looks reeeaally close to that, posted it here before. I talked about it before on some other posts so I wont get into it again. But I recommend it, if you have a good body for it.
btw can you link me to that jacket?
i'm going to use them for what they were probably meant for, which is skating.
If you want to get some decent skate shoes, you should try a local skate shop, they usually have a lot of nice shoes in there.
Got these from my local place in the city centre a week or so ago

Pick your favorite, pretty much anything goes.
Personal favorites? Khakis or grey jeans.

WELCOME TO THE THEATRE.
(I generally work tech for shows, though, so I can do whatever I want when it comes to appearance.)
What colour shoes would go well with dark blue jeans and black shirt? Black is alright, but then I think "hmm too much black on" then with white, they stand out too much imo
Just one of those simple things I can't quite get right :v:

As an actor who had to shave off most of my hair for a role, I second Grasp's welcome to the theater.
I hope you gave any and all autonomy to the director, because you won't be needing it for a while.

I have my confirmation a week before opening night, and I'm not even going to have my hair cut.

Was looking at getting a new jacket. I thought a bomber jacket similar to this would be nice.
Thoughts?

I think the only people who should wear jackets like that are people who actually flew bombers in WW2

I'm not sure what 14 and 16 year olds you're haging out with, I'm 18 but I can't take a normal looking picture for the life of me. And ok brb I'll shave it all off for you MAYBE THEN YOU'LL BE HAPPY
