I do see what you guys mean, and I appreciate the advice.
I never really thought of thicker frames while I was looking.
I don't think that shape of glasses either.
Square with rounded corners never looks right to me, either go for properly square or circular.

They say a more square look goes better with rounder faces, so I would do square.
What are some good stores for messenger bags. I'm looking for something for school/college that's casual and not too "business". Also not one with a massive logo slapped on the front in bright colours.

http://shop.herschelsupply.com/shop/messenger-bags.html good quality, don't know how you'd feel about the stitched on logo thing

I would generally only recommend a leather messenger bag, and one that isn't too noisy in the way that it is stitched. What do you consider "business"?

I like these though.
Thrift stores are pretty cool for oldschool leather messenger bags.
Herschel is nice too, and so is Freitag if you're looking to spend a bunch of money.
it depends so much on what you're willing to spend

Something that looks more like a briefcase with a strap on than a messenger bag.

They look pretty nice, thanks.
I love the Herschel Supply bags. They're amazing.
working on my smile, practicing every day in the mirror, and it seems that it's already improving. im able to show teeth without looking silly as all fuck, but like the left part of my bottom lip doesn't go all the way down so half of my bottom teeth end up showing..
The idea of working on your smile seems so silly to me
so i know flannel is played out as fuck, but it's really versatile, and great for layering too
the real question, though, is what should i replace it with?
I just realized my hair is receding, have a small widows peak already (and I'm only fucking 18)
Going to dermatologist soon and hopefully get Minoxidil (Rogaine) prescribed

Since you guys are on this topic, I was wondering.
What is your recommendation for someone who's actually going bald at a pretty young age?
I sadly seem to be in this case and was thinking about just shaving my head. My hair has always been pretty thin as well.
I was thinking if I shave it, I could keep it as clean shaven as possible. Thoughts?

imo it's hard to go full bald without looking like a tool, it works for 1. fit dudes, just makes you look like the military/personal trainer type, 2. the very small amount of people with the right head shape, and 3. kung-fu action movie stars

Sounds like a good plan to me, unless being bald really doesn't suit you.
thoughts on hair changes, I've had long hair my whole life pretty much and got kind of tired of it:
old - really bad picture (stoned, probably 3 in the morning, etc.) but it gives the general idea

Cheers man I was thinking 2 but I take forever to make my mind up
the plaid is ugly imo, if it was a dark leather then it'd be decent
