Its above shoulder length but not by much. I also do not know a style to do with my hair I feel even more awkward with short hair.

Ideally a photo, but if you find out what shape of face you have (google how to find out) and also maybe what type of hair you have (ie straight, wavy, curly. Again google it) then we can provide suggestions. Although there are plently of websites that offer a wide catalogue of hairstyles indexed by face shape so probably better to browse there first and then either post here for our thoughts or just go ahead and get it.

All that said, if you are content with your hair how it is then don't change it because people on here say you should, change it because you want to.

Yeah I like my hair but its annoying to deal with since it is un-even and large and takes an entire bottle of gel to do anything with it.

Now but srsly, slicking it back like this is not for everyone. Try a style with maybe a parting at one side. or at least don't slick it back too flat. Get some volume up in there.
