I don't think I could trust myself with one, the whole time I would have a Rolex on I'd be worried about loosing it or getting mugged or some shit.
they may be expensive, but they're ugly as hell
Rolexes are nice watches, but wearing one before youve reached the middle of your life seems odd
I'd say wearing one as a kid makes you look rather spoiled
wearing an authentic rolex at a young age makes you better than everyone else if you have the aesthetics and status to back it up
wearing an authentic rolex at a young age makes you better than everyone else if you have the aesthetics and status to back it up
Ah, it's Lemonator again. Care to post more stupidly expensive clothes sites?
So, what do you want?
Some jacket similar to this one James Bond is wearing, though in a gray color. This type of fabric is what I'm trying to get at.

anyone wearing a rolex who doesn't have the rest of the lifestyle to back it up looks like a weirdo. like sure if you're a director of a business and own a decent house and a decent car then a rolex is going to fit the monetary persona you've got that shallow people will notice and enjoy having enough money to own a rolex isn't enough. if you drive a 1998 ford fiesta and live in a one person flat in a suburb but wear a rolex you're going to look stupid you shouldn't own a rolex if you're not rich and didn't earn it yourself
Guys halp, i be 26 and still wear gaming related Qwertee tshirts and cheap jeans D: Seriously, i was dating for 3 years so saw no point to dress super nicely, neither of us did, now i'm single and searching and for some reason care about my looks, i have no idea what would suit me or not. Pic related, its meh ( i posted a picture few days ago showing my haircut/destroyed all my acne so yea that part was good ) Anyone got any advice how i can fix up and what would suit me.
First of all get rid of that t-shirt so you look less like a dork
wearing an authentic rolex at a young age makes you better than everyone else if you have the aesthetics and status to back it up
Alright, listen. I don't know your history and what you've said in other threads, but I do know you're acting like an asshole in this one. You aren't the only one to come from a privileged background, but it seems you have yet to discover modesty. It isn't your money, and it reflects poorly on both you and your family if you go around wearing a watch that costs more than some people make in a year. On a total side note, Rolex watches can come across as overly gaudy and generally in poor taste in certain situations. For anyone here with interest, I would advise a Patek over a Rolex if you want to spend real money on a watch.
Rolex are for people who really want to show how much their watch costs.
Anyone got any advice how i can fix up and what would suit me.
Take the t-shirt off and burn it, it gives the impression that you've found your mum's credit card at age 12 and just raided the valve store. Next you're going to want to invest in some shirts, a nice jacket (maybe a blazer?), and stop wearing cheap, baggy tesco jeans. Do a bit of online looking around to find out what styles are in at the moment, and find one that you can make your own. Try places like asos.com, have a look at some upmarket brands and see what they're pushing because you can recreate their looks very easily, and reasonably cheaply.

But ok. And yea trouble is i dont really feel i can find stuff id like that would look good on me, i like that shirt but mainly cause i like portal etc i know people would think its nerdy and such but y'know, thats just me.
Being nerdy shouldn't correlate to fashion sense.

With the T-shirt, yes I can understand that you like portal, I do too, hell I even have a t-shirt but don't wear them all the time! Question time; Do you want to dress better but still have the nerdy/geeky look to you? Do you have any shirts so we can see what one looks like on you (even a polo would be great)? What footwear do you own? A pic of your jeans wouldn't go amiss too.
