I don't know the consensus on this but I really don't think that's how you should wear a hoodie - zip it up

What price point do you guys go for on just casual clothing? I don't want to spend an insane amount of cash when I can get the same, or better, for far less.

I suppose I'd go roughly by the following max cash spent on basics, unless the item is really fantastic;

Tshirts - $35
Button ups - $55
Jeans - $65 (pretty low for some people but I'm not into any of that raw denim or whatever, you can get jeans for less than this that fit and look great and it's not like they'll dissolve after a month)
Shoes - $80
Jackets - $100

The low cut at the front is pretty feminine but it hardly matters since they won't show at all, that being the point. Also the silicon non slip patch at the back is fucking marvellous
