they looked good on manly men that could pull them off now they're greasy teenager hats
That's what happens when unattractive teens try to empower themselves through formerly manly style. Headwear can be ironic sometimes. [editline]18th November 2012[/editline]
He's not wearing a suit, sorry
He's not wearing a suit?
they looked good on manly men that could pull them off now they're greasy teenager hats
greasy teenagers are to blame. they looked at fedoras in a classic context and went "wow that hat is so cool if I wear it it will make me cool" but they didn't realize a cool hat doesn't make them cool, their lameness just makes the hat lame
He's not wearing a suit, sorry
He's wearing a tweed jacket or similar which is close enough.
I have a Panama hat, however it's a nice white colour and is made entirely of reconstituted paper. The shape holds differently to most I've seen and since I wear a lot of white, it can actually look VERY normal on me. Only thing is, finding a situation where it's 'appropriate' to wear that kind of hat is... impossible. Everyone loves it though, and once they find out it's made from paper they're a bit struck by it. It looks almost exactly like this, only not a fedora; I'm not a greasy teenager and the clothes I tend to wear compliment it well, but as said, yeah, it can be tricky to find a good excuse to wear it...

Panamas are not cheap. I dream to one day be one of those guys who wears a white suit every day with a Panama, but sadly that's very hard to do seeing as I'm a white male with considerably abnormal measurements. I have a regular sized torso, but my pant size is width 32 and length 38. My sleeves are 42 extra long, and my head is the largest size on the standard hat sizing chart. And I'm 6 foot 5. That's why I want to be a famous big shot celebrity so I can have a different suit for every meal I eat.

It's a quality brand but it was only about $70 AUD (it's because of the materials used I guess?). And as for your 'dimensions', well... I'm 6ft 6, size 36 pants, no idea about shirtwear, I just buy medium for everything, or large if a particular brand fits better that way. No idea about my head measurements though! Tried the panama on and it fit great first go so I just went for it. That being said, it IS very rare for me to find a hat that 'just fits'.
they looked good on manly men that could pull them off now they're greasy teenager hats
also notice how in that photo the fedora matches the entire suit, both in colour and material. That is proper wear, anything less than that is beyond unacceptable. However, fedoras are still far out of fashion and I cannot recommend wearing them to anybody.

I got my first legitimate suit a few months ago and Joseph A. Bank only carried length 38 pants with width 36, so it had to get tailored. :/
length 38.
Holy shit your legs are long.
Holy shit your legs are long.
I only have two pairs of jeans. I order them online.
Sorry yeah I'm a 36 waist. Probably a 35 really as my pants always have some sliiight slack to them around the waist. I just whipped out the measuring tape, my legs are about 38-39 long too. Yes we are tall bastards!
Size-15-foot-high-five!
Got you beat there, I wear size 16. Any smaller and it hurts my feet haha Have to order all my shoes from Newbalance's online store or from an American store. Newbalance is pretty much the best fitting shoe I can find... Mum was in America at the end of last year and she bought a few pairs of nice shoes back on the flight home for me, so that's got me stocked for a good while now.
i'm a 14 wow how tall are you
i'm a 14 wow how tall are you
6' 5" Yeah, I reeaaally hope I don't get any bigger feet, because then I'd have to start wearing basketball shoes all the time and they are awful and douchey shoes when they're that big. I don't do sports.
I'm size 7 UK which is a size 8 US. wtf. [editline]19th November 2012[/editline] Also I got these shoes a while ago for school. [t]http://www.walkandwear.co.uk/catalog/images/product_images/popup_images/6719_0.jpg[/t] Most of my friends say they look doi, which is basically a nice way of saying retarded but people I am only acquitances with like them.

The Ryan Gosling suggestion is actually a pretty damn good idea, but i'm thinking that his haircut here would work a bit better given my hairtype and require less wax/pomade: Sorry for the late response.
just cut it shorter it push the fringe back or back and to the side i don't use any product, it should just stay like that just fine for the most part

How much have you all been spending on your shoes?
@rusty: Doesn't stay in place for me, it's damn annoying.

I think that'd be off-putting to a lot of people. Maybe.
very strangely i think it works i dont know i am undecided
I think they look slick
I'd wear them but not for that price.

Once i found some really good shoes in Zara, but I didnt buy them because usually I trust shoe brands more than clothing stores in general. I once bought a pair from some other place, and they broke in a couple of months
