lol, load of bullshit. some straight dudes will give you honest advice and some won't, the same goes with gay guys and females. some will, some won't. gay or straight has nothing to do with it. yeah, it's a stereotype that the latter are more fashionable but that's also bullshit. i've seen some shitty dressing/looking gay dudes and females. i used to work at a reasonably fashionable clothing store for a long time, people would come in looking for something or they'd ask how something looks on them after trying it on and I was always straight up with them, and I'm hetero. some people just get it and some don't. you're talking out your ass.

But I don't want styled hair.
I want regular hair. I'm taller than most people I know, so no one gets to see the top of my head that much. I don't want to stand out any more than I already do.
Plus, I love old-styled fashion. Today I went to school with a brown leather bomber jacket, sunglasses and gloves.

it looks better as in, you dont look like a 14 year old but rather like a 30 year old. So yeah, better, but still boring. I have no idea as to how you should style it since its so short, but I dunno, play with wax, cut the sides shorter, leave the top longer etc.etc.

Good if you want to look like one of those One Direction fellas. And that could actually be a good thing, too. An abundance of girls in my area are obsessed with those kids and their hair.
And if you're not the lady-dating type, I'd say that haircut would be attractive to some gay men as well.
It's a universally attractive hairstyle nowadays, even though I personally dislike it.
