Is it rude to randomly give people fashion advice? My friend wants a gold plated CaSiO (£38) and I was on the brink of saying 'gold will not go with your orange hair against your pale skin' in the most emotionless manor. On top of that, it's £38, so it will probably be really shit.
There's a moron at my school with a pair of these, every time he wears them he goes "lol guyz look my shooz have wings it like they can fly but they cant it is probably art or somthin guyz lol"
Is he spaghetti? Spaghetti people always wear dumb shit.
doesn't matter what you wear if you're spaghetti, the sauce will forever stain your pants.

He's not spaghetti, he's just kind of an idiot.
For example, a friend of mine once went to Comic-Con as a Big Daddy from BioShock. He got a real scuba suit online and heavily modified it and it looked great. This guy wanted to be like my friend, so he also got a Big Daddy costume, but he made his parents make it for him and they took twenty pictures of him in it in their backyard all while exclaiming how proud they are of him.
Sounds very ravioli if he isn't spaghetti.

I'm not much for watches but that's a pretty nice watch.
i'm liking the look of these shoes

Definitely a nice watch. Knock-off of the Panerai style. But Panerais are fuck expensive.
He's not shit at tucking in his shirt. That's how I wear the button-up/sweater combo usually, with the shirt untucked and sticking out. I think it provides an accent at the waist, much like allowing the shirt to stick out at your wrists provides an accent and your wrists.
Here's my first general rule for button-up/sweater combos:
V neck sweaters look better with a tie underneath and crew neck sweaters look better without a tie underneath. However they still look alright the other way around.
second general rule: Spread collar shirts look better with sweaters than button-downs. Button-downs will look alright (The model is wearing one), but I think it looks better when you wear a spread collar shirt underneath and allow the collar to come out and over the top of the sweater.
With a blue sweater like that you could get away with a white or grey shirt (because they are color-neutral), or a patterned shirt in something like blue/white or yellow/grey.
People talkin' about shirt/sweater combos in here? Shit.
Definitely check my SVPPLY Collections if you guys are looking for new clothes, by the way, I keep it pretty updated.
Definitely check my SVPPLY Collections if you guys are looking for new clothes, by the way, I keep it pretty updated.
Listing $100 button-ups, apparently.

Yeah, fuck if I'm gonna pay $20000 for a watch when I can get something that looks practically the same for $80.

Nah I live in Middle Finland/Western Finland!
what are good casual clothes to just throw on when i dont feel like putting on jeans and a decent looking sweater?

Good observation (?)
Good observation (?)
What I'm saying is you've listed some seriously over-priced stuff on there. Some less so, to be fair, but most if it seems over-priced.
What I'm saying is you've listed some seriously over-priced stuff on there. Some less so, to be fair, but most if it seems over-priced.
Svpply allows for price ranging, not listing of exact prices.
Most of the prices are simply because of the nature of their manufacturing.
Rely on my collections as more of an inspiration / look guide, and not a pick-a-part.
Mind you, I'm the guy who spent $110 on carrot-fit, drop-crotch sweats.

+those plaid and flanell shirts are horrible imo
+those plaid and flanell shirts are horrible imo
I hadn't saying anything about how they actually look, but yeah some of the styles are a bit odd as well. As he said himself, "carrot-fit, drop-crotch sweats".
I saw someone wearing these, wings and all today...
he was wearing your normal uni-student clothing, the rest of his outfit wouldn't suggest he was wearing dead parrots on his feet.
Because they're Jeremy Scott's Adidas WINGS.
There's something to Fashion aside from looking like the same cardboard cutout everyone here tries so hard to conform to.

No, no no no no.
If I (or anyone) bought them, they'd have to be outfit and occasion specific.
i.e. me going out for dinner on the Coachella cruise so I can fistbump Kanye.
[editline]29th November 2012[/editline]
and, "the clothes don't make the man, the man makes the clothes"
certain boundaries can really only be pushed with a serious ensemble of an outfit / a look by whoever's wearing the clothes.

like for trying to learn to fly by jumping from the roof of a 20-store building?

cause, you know, that's what anyone should do who wears those
I'm starting to get money from my job, so I'm definitely going to keep my svpply updated too, check out mine if you want

I don't usually post in here because I don't particularly care for your button-up-sweater-khakis-oxfords every day style. I usually wear basketball sneakers that you guys hate, and from that perspective, I say get those wings.
that said, I agree that the multicolored ones are ridiculous
Think of those Wings as a rare, exclusive item made between Adidas and Jeremy Scott. Think of it as a collectors item, more for the sneakerheads out there than for an everyday wear. Dont think of it as clothing per say, but more as a piece to be appreciated.
Get the difference between whats meant to be worn and whats meant to just be appreciated. You dont wear what you see on the catwalk, do you?

Hitting the nail on the head.
no really, the closest thing to casual i have is some blue sweatshirt and black sweatpants with a red stripe going down it that are too big on me, so i need casual clothes. i always wear jeans and some days i just dont want to.
