If anybody actually gets a $1000 order left outside, they are so stupid they shouldn't actually be entitled to their purchase. They deserve to have it stolen; if you didn't do it, they would have either been destroyed, or somebody else would have swiped them anyways. Ask around a bit more, then sell them or keep them. But in all honesty, search them for drugs. That's pretty odd that somebody would just dump something like that in a residential alleyway.

Not saying I doubt you, but for the sake of argument: Just because your parents let you bring it in does not mean you actually walked around and asked about it (Not saying you didn't). For that matter, it also doesn't mean your parents care about you asking around, in the case that they would rather sell it.
