About?
Look at the dumb ratings, they're all jealous that they don't find such stuff. I had something similar, but got it out of my recently deceased friends house.
i suggest you at least write down your last wishes if you choose to keep these items
I suggest you stop making dumb posts if you wish to stay on these forums.

^ oh crap forgot 't :pseudo:
send the usb interface to me, im a musician those m-audio speakers look almost exactly like my ESI nEar 05
I don't think you should put up a notice. Just because you might have morals doesn't mean everyone else does. If I put up a flier to ask who lost $20, obviously everyone would say they did.
One day I was walking home from downtown, and I was tired and it was starting to get windy and rain and I saw a bike just up against a pole not locked up so I stole it and just rode it home. Convient. Without FP going super moral fag on you, if someone just leaves $1000 worth of audio equipment in an allyway it is their own fault if it gets stolen. [editline]07:12PM[/editline] Just keep the stuff OP.
I wouldn't have taken them in the first place. I have a concience, unfortunately. Obviously though, it was entirely down to how you feel.
It's the person's fault for leaving it in a desolate open-environment place. It's yours to keep. Ugh some of these replies are so stupid.
Fuck the moral idiots saying "HURR RETURN" or "HURR SELL". It's your luck, you keep it.
Yeah stop being so butt hurt that you never get this lucky. @ OP, good job on the find, hope you get the price you want for them.
Hurr return, HURR SELL! I got a Presonus Firestudio audio-card, which is the equivalent of the one you got(another model of course). If it's just as good, you should sell it to some unfortunate musicians.
It was starting to rain. I'm pretty sure if anyone was supposed to be picking it up or whatever the person wouldn't just have expensive speakers sitting around outside.
He should ask around if anybody has misplaced several high-value pieces of equipment. Put up an ad in the newspaper/online/whatever and include your phone number, and say that to get it they have to specify what was "misplaced". If nobody responds, idk.
Proof of ownership (IE: Receipt)is the same thing as having your name on it. It signifies that you own the object. In this case, neither a name on the object nor a receipt is present. The OP, in essence, owns the objects until somebody proves otherwise. Though "the law" may not say that explicitly, it's implied.
This quote seems most appropriate, but as my dad likes to say "Possession is only nine Tenths of Ownership."(I thinks that's what he says, I remember nine tenths and possession, but not the exact order)without some form of proof of ownership, the Person in possession is most likely to win. this could be thought out better it think, but im tired.
Yeah, I'd say just keep it. No shipping address or anything to indicate it was a delivery. (Even if it was, the guy delivering it would probably be fired and the individual who lost the item would be reimbursed for the missing delivery.) Also, if you posted a flier chances are you will get 3-5 people who say its theirs. I say do what you will with it. PS. I need some new speakers, how bout you send those to me? [editline]11:00PM[/editline] Oh, if you really want to do what most people would call the "right" thing, you might want to start asking around for musicians specifically and not just random people or a newspaper.
My boxes!
Sell it for $700, you got it for free. Teach the person that you can't just leave shit like that standing out in the middle of the world.
i demand an update
Try to return em.
Well I don't believe a delivery man would leave something like that outside, they would leave a note to pick it up at the post office.
