Oh fuck that's what it's called! I thought nobody else had it except for people in my family. Wow... Yes I have it. [editline]18th May 2011[/editline] I was teased heavily for it in high school so I used to pass it off as eczema. I have it on my arms, thighs, tops of legs, the sides (stomach going round to lower back) and my shoulders.
Get people to pay you to treat their acne.
I was wondering about this, I have a fairly mild case on my upper arms. It's gross but not really a problem or anythin.
Wow, I've always wondered what that was. I have it on my upper arms, as long as I wear sleeves no one can see it.
heh pretty amazing how much people have it without really realising it.
If you rub fordyce spots on your KP both of them go away forever.
Go tanning it helps. :)
Yeah, tanning makes mild cases of this practically invisible
When I was a kid my mum bought some stuff for me to rub it in and I'd have to scrub it in really hard. Nothing worked. Oh well, now that I'm 19 I don't care about it in the slightest.
I have it. Thought it was a rash from my allergies, but my allergy doctor said that it was this. Just on my upper arms, though. Normally the rest of my skin is smooth if I'm not out in the sun for a long time.
I have it, but im lucky, i only have it on the upper part of my arms.
i do and it's fucking annoying. it's not extreme though. in fact, it's super mild. just looks like faint red dots. and it does infact cause me anxiety. I always think people are going to see it and mock me. when in reality, it's not really a big deal.
Weird, I have eczema (or at least I was diagnosed with that at birth), and it's in the form of roughish bumps on my upper legs and arms. Weirdly, on my forearms and legs I just have normal eczema, but the bumps seem to function with it (so they get smaller/disappear if I put enough cream on them). Maybe the two are kinda linked?
There's this kid I go to school with that always has really, really flushed cheeks. I'm glad I saw this thread because I totally thought he was doing autoerotic asphyxiation in the bathroom between classes.
Light a match on your arm. :v:
I've always wondered what it was called! Looks like a lot of others are the same as me.
Oh so that shit has a name? I wonder if there's any way to get rid of it...
While there is no cure for keratosis pilaris, there are palliative treatments available.
:saddowns:
really mildly yeah, not that big a deal. no one has said anything nor have i cared.
I think my girlfriend might have something like this on her arms.
I had a small patch like that on my right arm before. After a few months I got annoyed at it and kept washing it and then scratching a bunch of it off over and over again. After about ten minutes it was gone, and it hasn't come back since, which was about 5 years ago.
So that's what that is... Got it on my upper arms. Doesn't bother me though but I've always wondered what it was. Thanks!
I didn't know it had a name, neat. I have this all over my arms, legs, and butt, but they aren't red so it's hardly noticeable, I can only see it up close.
Always wondered what t his was, i've got it all over my legs/upper arms.
So that's what it is...I've got it on my biceps, triceps, shoulders and upper back. REAL mild though compared to yours, only one person's ever pointed it out to me in my whole life.
I have it on my upper arms. Its worse on my right arm than my left, but it isnt noticable on either of them.
I have it on my both arms and shoulder, and it really goes off when I eat a lot of sugary food and sweets. But eating fruits and vegetables keeps rough skin on my arm to be barely noticable.
I have a thing under my right armpit and towards the back a bit, it's a patch of splotchy red that never ever goes away about 2 inches by 2 inches what is
I had it when I was 13, then I went on a trip to Spain for holiday and Ive never seen it since.
