While I've had bad experiences in the past with 3D movies, that was years ago, I've heard 3D technology has advanced greatly. Or have I been hearing wrong?

Color loss has improved greatly due to the use of polarization rather than red-blue glasses. They've also realized that depth perception 3D is much more enjoyable than flat scene and random shit flying in your face every 3 seconds 3D

I also just got back from seeing this movie and nearly shit myself laughing at some parts.
It was the first movie I've cried to...from laughter.
I would watch this movie if it wasn't in 3D.
Saw it last night. The whole theater was laughing.

Pretty funny movie like the first 2 but this one was a lot funnier, a small fraction of the movie had lame stunts but the majority of it was funny, intro was pretty mtv-ish too.
jackass is the only movie I think could really do awesome stuff with 3d

I thought it was going to be lame 3d, but it was pretty legit, 3d does open another dimension of fun.
the 3d made certain parts amazing

Oh, this one movie theater in the place where I live, Johnny Knoxville ended up being surprised to show up too, because this particular theater has a policy of ordering large fried restaurant food as part of the admission, and considering the theater had Knoxville there to sign autographs was the irony of him even saying you do not want to be eating when your watching this movie, you will lose your lunch. Hillary Duff was also in the neighborhood, and she was signing for some new book she came out with, and if that was not bad enough, I got stuck in the middle of the fan girl crowd, because these guys from CW's Vampire Diaries, just happened to have their setup next door to me, and I don't get why those dudes, I don't know their names, seemed to have bigger fans then Duff and Knoxville combined, but maybe it is just me.
As for what you said Dr. C, I hate to say it, I still think when Knoxville extracted himself, and threw his cup of goo all over the camera man in Jackass 2.5, when you see it in first person, that the camera man quit was the funniest, but maybe, really sick. Whoever that was who got drenched by Johnny, please don't hate me for that, but we will never see that type of banned to theaters cut scene in 3D, at the theaters.

Saw this on release, my birthday. Awesome movie.
The sweat suit thing had me gagging though, and that's normally rare for me, but god that was just sick.
I'm sick of this 3d gimmick.
