I don't know how people use stuff like grindr without fear of psycho rapists or something
[editline]20th February 2015[/editline]
Like fuck yeah I wanna meet cute dudes in my area but I'm also terrified of every other human being who's not me
My moral radar goes on when people talk about those stuff then I suddenly think fuck it, not my problem.
It's kinda weird to have faith and be conservative but gay. I'm still a fucking hypocrite and would jump into bed with a nice guy if I got the chance.
Keep your morals there will be someone out there who matches them who'll you miss out on if you disregard them.
Although it's probably a million times harder to find one if they're LGBT+
condoms don't stop the aids paranoia train
and grindr just makes me feel completely unsafe
My awesome friend/wouldbeboyfriendifhewasntspanish works as an STI/HIV/Sex health advisor for students and French immigrants. If you use a condom (your condoms) correctly there is basically no way you'll get HIV/aids. Unprotected oral sex rate of HIV/aids is "unmeasurable" according to the sex health clinic I go to (rate for other STI's is obviously really high, but the majority are 100% curable - worry about herpes only pretty much). If you're active/top then you have an even lower chance of getting it than a passif/bottom
Visit your local sex health clinic (hopefully you have one that tests for free) once every three months. You should be fine.
Having said all that, safest thing to do is abstain and you won't (99.99% of the time) have to worry. If you use grindr, at the very least meet them at a pub/bar/cafe beforehand and get to talking some. Work on the principle of no obligation toward anything and be ready to say "no not today, maybe another time" if you aren't comfortable.
Keep the aids paranoia train tbh. Casual sex isn't worth the hassle.
If you are in a country that has it: truvada; I am pretty sure it's prescription only (you'll want to consult a doctor about side affects etc) but if you take it "four or more times a week" according to studies, your risk of HIV in condom-free sex reduces 99%. Obviously that doesn't mean you should not have condom free sex, but used in conjunction with a condom and you pretty much secure yourself as impossible to contract the disease.
If you have been exposed and you find out within 72 hours you can also prevent contraction with PEP (post-exposure prophylaxis).
If you've got aids paranoia, and you learn about it (and you're strict about it, even when horny), then you'll be perfectly safe. The issue is people who don't bother to learn or don't care or aren't paranoid keep the spread going.

Picture this: I used grindr to get over my generalised anxiety. The result is I am no longer chained to my bedroom by a fear of everyone outside of it and I don't have to go to the bathroom five times out of sheer anxiousness before I went to visit friends I had known for five to eight years.
I'm not defending grindr, I am just saying how insane I am.

What? In Sweden it's probably most likely I will find someone with the same views or someone that has no problem with it.
By "used" grindr I mean I just met people - mostly in dog parks because dogs are fun - and chatted with them. Often, despite my clear indications, they were still entertainingly upset when I didn't go have sex with them.
[editline]20th February 2015[/editline]
idk the only Swedish guy I met was hard core atheist in an open relationship and tried to invite me to his parents house for Christmas as his third boyfriend (kinda wish I went the northern lights pictures were crazy cool). He picked up at a club while I made out with his boyfriend.
That is like the most un-swedish person ever.
That is like the most un-swedish person ever.
It's pretty gay tbh, hence why I said you might have difficulty. He spent 30% of the time telling me how unswedish everyone else was on the metro in Stockholm as well though so you have something in common. I wasn't allowed to do PDAs either because "Swedish people don't do that"
Sounds like a green party voter. I would make him rage easily, then I'd make him hatefuck me.
I think he's anti immigration as well though, he kept going on about how they never used to have homeless people until the EU let them in. I don't know anything about your parties except that greens are usually pro-immigration aren't they?
Anywho. Oh what happened with that 9 year old that got his head smashed in by police for jumping the barrier in Stockholm. It was all over the news when I was there last.
I always thought that the whole "Swedes are turbohomos" thing was just a myth. I guess I was wrong.
It wasn't in Stockholm, it was in Malmö and by guards. The boy apparently disappeared and went to Denmark.

Stockholmers are turbohomos.

Disappeared and went to Denmark?? What.
And he wasn't born in Stockholm, he was born somewhere far up north. It's one of the reasons I met him because he said I looked like everyone where he was from when I said I had embarrasingly unfancy warm weather clothes. He never dated anyone from Stockholm because they were way too reserved he said. He showed me around Stockhom for a day it was great, I went to a viking bar! His boyfriend is British.
Malmö shmalmö, if you call a train a Pendeltag (aahahahahahahahahahahaha) I don't pay attention to what the words actually mean.
[editline]20th February 2015[/editline]
Hahaha before posting this I double checked that your steam name wasn't the same as his because apparently I think there is only one person in Sweden.
[editline]20th February 2015[/editline]
Actually I loved Sweden and Stockholm a tonne. One of the first things I saw was a guy greet his boyfriend at the airport in a pink bowtie that actually suited what he was wearing it was amazingly cute.

I live in Stockholm, cant walk down the street without getting invited to a gay orgy.

Stockholm is alright, it's mostly a joke that stockholmers are dumbasses. It's a big and populated area with all kinds of people. He sounds a bit closed minded when he don't want to date people from there.
I actually live like 10km away from the county border and about 40km from Arlanda. You should visit Uppsala during summer, it's great!

That's the other thing he went on about, "you shoulda come in the summer!!!!" But yes. I'd love to go to Europe in the summer. At this stage though it's likely to only be if I learn Spanish and move to Spain.

I got the job 2 hours after the interview - they're expecting me to start March 9.
I've also lost a stone in weight.
God's in his heaven, all is right in the world.

Spain is (apparently) unbearable during summer, judging from my spanish friend. I visited in December, and it was warm enough.

I live in Australia.
I'll be ok :v:
Willing to bet I could get decent action on something like Grindr but other than concerns of disease/being easy/etc that type of sexual contact just doesn't seem too desirable to chase at all
I'm more of a fan of "sex with someone I actually know/can trust/get to know" kind of guy than an anonymous one night fuck. I've had sex with someone before within a short while of getting to know them but it was still under the expectation that we were friends and I'd be friends after.
I bought a knife for CS:GO. £35 gone for pixels. I need help. :(
EDIT:
I need help buying more keys I mean ;D

Cosmetic items are literally spending money on e-peen
Especially when it comes down to items you can't see properly unless you're in first person, like CS:GO weapons, when you can download skins for clientside use anyway

I agree with this, but lately I've begun to worry that it's just something I say to myself to make me feel better. I'm not ugly, for me it's just an exposure issue; Haven't met any confirmed gay guys in my daily life (a few I've suspected though, heh), and I don't get out much aside from school and family stuff - So it's mostly just my social anxieties holding me back, I suppose.
I wish I wanted more casual sex.

Not really but that's probably different to what I have considering that's irl and not online.
I'm in a weird relationship with someone, he both admitted that we have feelings for eachother but we both agreed that e-relationships / long distance relationships never work out so we're kind of friends with benefits.
Benefits as in I can talk about gay stuff to someone who doesn't mind talking about gay stuff, and we give eachother advice on whats going on in life.

Platonic gay friends are the best, but so hard to come by. Strangely enough nearly all of my past relationships have evolved into something like that

If he did not say his name, he probably doesn't want to share that info so guessing won't get you anywhere.
