am i a monster for enjoying the taste of raw onions
All my friends think I'm weird for liking raw onion, but not fried onions.
So yes.

Onions are pretty good however you eat them imo
Caramelized is best though
Don't talk shit about oatmeal.

Do you ever get the feeling when you read stuff online that seems to make everything that happens in real life feel silly or almost like it shouldn't be how the world works or something?
I would read articles and think "wow that's some pretty cool stuff" and then imagine it in real life and think "there is no fucking way this is how the world exists"
Someone dropped off some neat books the other day. Their dates range from an 1850s catalogue to something from the 1950s that I can't remember.
We were going to throw them out because the place I work has too many books, and they were all dirty. I said I'd take them though. Nothing I really want to read, but I like historical stuff like that.

Shit like this is why I avert my eyes when I go past antique shops. I visited one in Ohio that had Time and Life magazines from the Vietnam era.
So many cigarette ads, jesus

I eat raw red onion sometimes so no
I eat raw red onion sometimes so no
Red onions generally have a milder taste, though.
Just went through the books I mentioned. The catalogue is from 1859, there are 2 books on something called 'Punch' from 1868 I think, then a book on Social Diseases from 1905 and a childrens book from 1939. Among others, those are just a few.
It's all really interesting to read through and see what kind of things were entertaining or in the case of the magazine sold back then.
Our prime minister eats raw onions all the time now.

It was drawn and it depitcted a fox with smoke coming out of his mouth and some trippy rainbowy background. I remember there was someone with a hat in there.

Raw onions are great in things like burgers/salads but not on their own
And maybe he should've peeled it first.

Raw onions are ok in certain situations, fried onion still the king though.
I love fried onions.
