Like i said, i haven't tried paintball and i don't even want to. I don't mean it by "serious", i mean it feels more realistic and more fun. Yeah, that's what i meant. Now you say "Don't judge before you try." I think it doesn't look fun, so i decide to judge it.
Then you really don't have any reasons to post (other than your myopic ignorance) in this thread, do you? :downs:

Maybe, maybe not. I just said my "stupid" opinion and now you can ignore it.

That's a 300$ Airsoft shotgun that is sold out. That's 25$ more than what I paid for a real one, same make and model, that has the exact same setup except the sights.
In fact:

The budget version is 100$ cheaper.
In the end though, comparing airsoft and paintball is completely retarded, and is a dick waving contest. Both hobbies are two completely different animals with two completely different goals in mind. One is intended (for the most part) to be a military combat simulation with full on immersion and roleplay. while the other is intended more as an actual sport, with small, fast paced (albeit much less realistic) action.
tl:dr: Though both are wargames, trying to compare the two is useless, since both have a completely different goal in mind.
Just to reiterate.
Wow that made me sigh. First off your spelling. For an '05 I expected better. And apex barrels add curve to the ball most people use it to shoot around corners or trees (if they are good enough) But if you want distance grab a tippmann and get a Flat line barrel its worth it. Also upgrade from CO2 to Compressed Air, It is a thousand times better in air efficiency and being able to shoot the same amount of pressure in cold weather. Also it is a lot easier on your gun.
You're an '10er with less than 40 posts and your name is "Sgt N3wb". You're exactly what I expected. Nothing is wrong with my spelling, those "UR DUMB" things were done intentionally.
Apex tips are pretty much adjustable flatlines. They work on the same physical principal and both add backspin to the ball. The Apex can swivel, however, allowing shots to be bent around corners.
Neither the Flatline or Apex make a huge improvement to range. The only way to be a sniper in Paintball is if you used Tiberious First Strike rounds. But at $142 for only 192 of them, it's easier to say there are no practical snipers in Paintball.
Also I already use HPA.

That's Lasered. Anno'd would mean it was a solid color/acid wash.
If airsoft guns were actually cool, here in Canada, instead of see-through plastic shit guns that fire 5 feet and drop to the ground, I'd actually like airsoft more.
Though, that is not happening, I'm staying with Paintball. Although the guns look retarded, sometimes, it feels good man.

Usually play Woodsball in the forest with about 30 people, 15/15. Attack and defend, escort, ViP.
Pretty nice.
I'm Canadian and I have the same guns Americans have. They cost 1.5 to 2 times the price though.

That's stupid. It's just a print of a nearly naked girl. It's like what you see tattoos of those dumb asses' arms. Anyone can do that...
[editline]03:50PM[/editline]
Being really skinny or borderline fat with a silly haircut wearing military gear doesn't?
Not true. And don't hold the rest of the airsofters acountable for the occasional random fat ass with a SAW.
Pelting each other with 100+ bb's is realistic and cool, and in airsoft you go blind when shot in the face, just like real life!
I play semi-auto. So do most of the guys at the field, nearly all with mid cap magazines (about 100 BBs per mag). Some even play with low-caps, 30 rds per mag or whatever it is the real gun has. The only people that just totally unload are the squad automatic gunners (M60, M249, RPK, etc) and the noobs with their hi-caps.
That's stupid. It's just a print of a nearly naked girl. It's like what you see tattoos of those dumb asses' arms. Anyone can do that...
It isn't a print, it's laser etching. Anodizing. Not everyone can do it. That is a sexy gun.

I know what it is, but it mine as well be a print. Laser etching is nothing new or special, and it's not like people even print things onto their guns. Print or laser, you're going to buy it as a part, not make it yousrelf.
Maybe you like random women and $ on your guns, whatever.
Not everyone can do it.
That's because a machine does it for you. :l

That's really ignorant to say. Laser etching is near-permanent, it is cut into the annodized finish on aluminum. It's why people even bother with it. A print would be worn off after only a couple games
So what if they like random women and $ on their guns. Laser etching is just to make their gun stand out and increase the resale value.
Maybe paintball players think it's retarded to paint a gun camouflage? (I don't)

I know what laser etching is. Basically, as I see it it's a random chick on my gun is a con either way. He compared it to a chrome shotgun, which despite being a bit odd, is cooler than that.
I like laser etched trades on my gun. You like nude women on your gun. I don't think it's a coincidence that you're the paintball player here.

I knew that post would make people rage.
I dunno, me and a bunch of others tried airsoft (with legit Airsoft markers). But the rush of tactical paintball is much more thrilling. I used a MK48 when i played airsoft. And compared to the Tippmann A5 (Paintball Marker) Variant. Paintball felt more realistic.
I just loved it when you lay down suppression on an opposing teams position, they go into chaos mode because most of my friends use Tiberius MP5 or A5 M416 variants. I find that they are just a little bit lighter than their real life counter-parts. (They train the Canadian troops with similar markers)
I dunno, Paintballing is a lot more expensive. And a lot of people can't pay for a fill station or get shipments of paintballs. So they end up going to walmart or some hardware store to get their logistics. That can tend to cost quite a bit after a while. And result in getting ripped off. My suggestion is that if you are interested, get a bunch of friends to partake in it and help pay for everything. And just have fun.
Decent video of what i was talking about:

Looks like guys who play MILSIM but use unrealistic looking guns. And airsoft isn't just MILSIM, you can play airsoft just like paintball, doing smaller skirmishes.
Also, the argument that paintball is used for military training is invalid seeing as the Chinese army uses airsoft guns for training.

Top is true.
As does the US military. Police forces too.
Opsgear kits are too expensive for what you get. The kits themselves are nice, but you're still left with a semi-automatic Tippmann A5.

All of these are features considered to be a give in for airsoft guns ._.

This gun has NEVER failed me. No chopping whatsoever and it's accurate.
It's a lil' beast.
