Harder to lie in paintball, but it does often, called wiping. It's frowned upon.
It's also very hard to lie in Airsoft. Enemies will be shot and cheaters will be repeatedly shot. The trick to it is not to bitch about people cheating, but to take it as an opportunity to shoot the shit out of the asshole that decides to. It doesn't happen very often from where I go.
Just play with mature people that don't cheat.
Urrghh one of these threads.. Maybe I should just stay away before I explode in a fit of bile and rage.. I'll at least leave some helpful advice, Zombii. These people are giving you shit advice, the first thing you want to ask is what kind of paintball do you want to play? In the woods now and again or every weekend? Do you maybe want to progress to tournament paintball? I started off in the woods and eventually found the tournament scene, I didn't buy my first marker until I got into tournament but it would have pissed me off If I'd bought some supposed to look alike ak47 piece of shit then had to sell it before I got into tourney ball (Because they will just laugh you out). If you want to get into woods then move to tourney buy an electro marker by a wellknown company that is still in business, just ask around at your local field and shoot some guns before you buy one. Think about what you're spending your money on, never go for frivolous bullshit upgrades and always..always preserve the packaging and look after your gear to the best of your abilities so you can sell it on in the future. On the bullshit upgrades...well if we're talking milsim guns a red dot may look cool with the foregrip and the metal buttstock but the guy across the field with the bone stock tippmann 98 that doesn't weight an extra 12lbs is going to cap you in the face. Never ever ever be cheap about your goggles, because you're being cheap about your eyes and they can't be replaced. Your lenses can! Oh and guys we paintballers like the pain because of something called Risk vs Reward. That's why it's enjoyable, You risk a shitload of pain for a big payoff and the pain also makes people play seriously.. I've got hundreds of welts from paintball..I'm staring at a fat scabby sucker on my arm right now. Legal limit is 300fps for a paintball gun. Bbs bounce that's why they hurt. If bbs were paint it would be like a fly landing on you, it hurts because energy is transferred to you then back off you to propel the bb in another direction. Paintballs burst and most of the energy dissapates but with the high mass it means more pain. I can't think of anything else all of you just shut up. There's a big Tourney vs Woods divide in paintball and that divide has been killing this sport for years, why everyone can't just shut up and let everyone else enjoy their own thing I will never know. That pic made me cry.. I miss my Ego7 =(
.... I already play paintball, I play speedball and airball, I have a VForce ProVantage, I have a WGP Synergy, Invert Halo TOO, Pure Energy Basic 48\3000, a CP 14" one piece, a Trilogy, and I'm planning on getting an ETek III LT. Oh and I have the Invert Prevail gear because I'm cheap.
Just play with mature people that don't cheat.
I agree. I hate kids who play airsoft when they get shot and they yell "You missed!", then you shoot them again then they start whining. That's why i play with mature people.

The youngest I've ever seen at my field was an 8 year old kid. He actually outscored me in kills too. The next youngest was my group of friends at 15 then everybody else at 18+.
There's a 10 or 11 year old, we asked him once but I forget exactly, at my field. He's pretty cool. Don't judge instantly by age. Yeah there's more of a chance of them being annoying, I see a group of idiotic 12 year olds every time I go, but some of them aren't bad at all.
Age doesn't matter a bit as long as they play fair. There's plenty of 10-13 year olds at my field, they're all nice so I don't mind them a bit. Most of them also follow my orders for some reason.
I guess it's the CoDfags we have to look out for.
