Airsoft stings and bleeds. Paintball bruises. They hurt about the same guys. Airsoft can hurt more at times, paintball can hurt more at times.
Paint has more mass, therefor more kinetic energy= more pain. When I started playing paintball, I was afraid to get shot, now it really doesn't hurt. When I get shot, I get dissapoint that I get out of the game for that round, rather than the pain.
You don't need expensive to have fun in airsoft. Airsoftgi.com
their warehouse is only a 4 minute walk for me :smug:

I made the mistake and got my legs destoryed. After five mins of close range I told them I had to stop. I was out breath.

Pure rubber, come back to me after you've played that.
Why do people like paintball more 'because it hurts more then airsoft'? If you want to get hurt/hurt someone, go play with pellet guns or baseball bats.
Paint has more mass, therefor more kinetic energy= more pain.
Paintballs travel twice as slow as BB's, and lose their speed two to three times as fast. There is less force behind the paintball, even though it's bigger it's traveling really fucking slow compared to a BB. Paintballs also either break to disperse that energy, or ricochet off and in that case it's not going to hurt as much as it's usually when it hits you at an angle. They hurt about the same bro. The end.
Just to let you guys know, I would rather play a sport that doesn't hurt. Even if it is more realistic, I would rather play the one that doesn't hurt and the guns are better. I really like airsoft, and I don't really care if they hurt or not. I'm not emo.
The airsoft gun will end up with some bleeding sores, meanwhile the paintball gun will break your rib and rip your skin open due to pure blunt trauma.
The strongest airsoft gun would penetrate your skin and stay in there. You'd be fucked. I don't know too much about physics, but wouldn't the strongest paintball gun splat easier? Meaning when it hits you, shouldn't pop easier than at lower speeds? There's a reason fields have limits on FPS. I mean the pain factor doesn't really matter in the first place, but this really doesn't matter. Nobody will ever be using the most powerful airsoft/paintball guns on other people.
Man, I wish airsoft wasn't illegal here... :(
You don't need expensive to have fun in airsoft. Airsoftgi.com
Yeah, this, its not really That expensive
I've played both, I prefer airsoft. Airsoft around here seems to be full of mature people and we usually run around the everglades and shit. Paintball in my area is full of assholes who are "tottally fucken pro yo" and are in it just to try and get sponsored, but that's just where I live I suppose. The guns are cooler IMO anyways, I only use GBB guns, I can't stand using AEG's anymore. my shit bro, all GBB

It's funny because multiple of the paintballers here said we played just to be "cool" and "pro" when it's really the majority of the paintball community that's like that. The paintballers here in SoCal are the same edberg. Honestly I can't see the two as mutually exclusive. What's wrong with doing some paintballing AND airsofting? If there's a person that likes both does the universe implode or something? Is it like dividing by zero?
Paint ball cost a lot cheaper.

Some of us just hate parts about it, like the lack of sights, big ugly guns, massive Co2 tank strapped to the back, how the paintballs take a dive to the ground after like 100 feet, and the kind of person you generally see playing paintball. [editline]03:08PM[/editline]
Paint ball cost a lot cheaper.
That's not true at all.
Paint ball cost a lot cheaper.
Paintballs are really expensive though. I can get a bag of 4k bb's for $20, from my paintball days I can imagine that it would cost much more. Although here in Canada airsoft guns are expensive (paid $750+ for the M14 with wood kit and scope).
Paintball is more of a sport:
Its more of a sport in a competitive stance yes but airsoft is just as much of a sport as paintball as its pretty much the same thing.
Paintball is a sport because it's (more than airsoft at least) competitive, and ESPN says so (it's literally a sport).
sexy images
I gotta admit. That's pretty sexy.
One thing I've always liked is that even GBB guns are cheaper then paintball, if I remember correctly it was about 7$ to exchange a Co2 tank, as opposed to 3$ for a coleman propane tank.

I'd rather worry about a broken rib then a tiny plastic pellet in my skin.

I do airsoft spent over £300 on it absolutely love it tried paint ball like 5 times wasn't as fun In my opinion.
Is that the WE scar?
yep, and a WE 1911 MEU
yep, and a WE 1911 MEU
How's the SCAR working out? I hear they have alot of problems so I'm shooting for the KJW M4 GBBR right now.
Reball is where it's at, pure blunt trauma. I'd rather worry about a broken rib then a tiny plastic pellet in my skin.
Dude, it's not tiny. You wouldn't be saying that. You'd be flipping out because you can't get it out, and you'd be bleeding like a motherfucker. And there's no point in playing reball. It's all the same, except the pain inflicted...that's stupid.
My Loadout Is Ak-47 AEG(removed Stock, Added Foregrip, Bought GP-25 for it) Glock 18 Gas(Extended Mag)
