That's because your body has tolerance to caffeine. I've been drinking caffeinated soda since I was a kid too, so coffee and Coke only have a very minor effect on me. Don't get much of a high or much of a crash.
That said though, if you take the 10-shot espresso you'd probably feel the caffeine affect you.
