My new VFC M4 doesn't take magazines easily. Shoving them up into the magwell where it will even slide into place takes quite a bit more effort than [I]either[/I] of my guns. Any idea what it is? Do I need to lube it?

I'm going to put it under the SMG category. MP7's and MP9's still have mags in the grip, yet they're SMG's too.

I wouldn't really recommend to lube it as it may get messy for your hands or gloves when you handle your mag, but you could apply some 100% silicone oil in the magwell, just a bit. Or sand down the mag, if it's a mag fitment related issue.
And well, be glad, that way your mag won't wobble.
