I'm a born again Jedi, I was once seduced by the dark side.
Everyone has these elaborate theories about death.
I think that when you die, there isn't anything. There is nothingness that we can't comprehend, because all of the chemical reactions that make "you" are gone.
Christian.
Why do people keep saying my name?
christian of course!! anyone who doesnt like god is going to hell!

Your name is not "atheist".
Your name is not "atheist".
No, it's Christian.
I pray to jesus but I believe that there is more than one way to enlightenment.
If you call your own belief "enlightenment", you're asking to be flamed.
I'm an athiest.
My take on religion is pretty simple, I'm not looking for a debate but I'll say it anyway:
The claim of a god or deity is unverifiable, and therefore meaningless to my life. So what's the point?
I guess you're pretty Agnostic then. Good for you man. I believe in agnosticism and Vulcan objectivism, which supports scientific evidence, logic and reasoning. The two go balls-trippingly well together.
If you call your own belief "enlightenment", you're asking to be flamed.
Enlightenment isnt a set of beliefs, its a state of mind.
I think, and I don't really care what the repercussions are, if you are over the age of about 15 or 16 and you still have a belief in a religion...you're an idiot. That's really the simplest way I can put it. You're just dumb.

I hate people that generalise either way. People say theres no way to prove theres a god, well theres no way to prove there isnt. Atheists dont like it when people who believe in god ram their beliefs down their throat, well guess what, the door swings both ways. Fuck off with the double standard. Im far from a stupid person and I see more things in the world that strengthen my belief in god than weaken it. You just have to know how to look at things.
Agnostic, athiesm is a little too absolute in my opinion.
Fuck your fence sitting. Choose a side.
Atheism.
"You can't reason with religious people. If you could, there wouldn't be any religious people."
No religion unless for some reason you count atheism as a religion.
For my part, I have other things to do than have faith in something that still has not been proven to exist and that is totally useless.
If I have problems in my life, I'll face em, I won't look for faith in a fucking book, or in a cross.
Agnostic, but getting oddly interested in LaVeyan Satanism. It doesn't sound that bad...
I don't really believe in heaven or hell, or any divine spirit that watches over us all and takes us under his wings when we die. But I also don't disregard the possibility.

And in my opinion, people who need god to "give them strength" really need a reality check.
No religion, existentialism.
Pantheism
Logically: ignostic. But I have a separation of what I believe and what what I logically should believe. I feel as though it is justified because it is a topic in which I hold the assumption it is better to believe what you want to believe. I'd consider myself Christian, although I'm not very Christian when compared to the portrayal of what Christian behavior is like. I also entertain myself a lot about Socratic thoughts about God/The Good. Getting into my own ideas about God could get a bit confusing because I'd make the argument that God is in the Bible and also in a book on chemistry, which isn't that confusing, but I could imagine many people would find contradiction in that.
I don't think the base of my views have changed very much since my first post in the this thread, I think they have only expanded and been refined, and I've also learned a new word.
I don't get why people have to put labels on everything and divide it into different groups and factions.
I do believe in a greater being, but I couldn't care less if you want to call him God, Yahweh or Allah.
If you just use your common sense and follow the basic messages of all religions and treat life with respect and love you kin it doesn't make any difference.
I've built my own believes and I've taken inspiration from both the Bible, Quran, Buddhism, Hinduism and even Satanism, there's things to learn about life from everything. You don't need a religion to tell you which stupid details are wrong or right.
Islam
no not the Islam you see on TV where they portray CULTURE and BELIEVE as the same thing, but the real Islam who believes in non violence gender equality and treating all with respect and kindness
