I had really bad acne on my forehead and my upper back. They're mostly gone now, forehead is completely smooth with no scars and upper back still has a few left. I did NOTHING to help them disappear, luckily they just did. :v:

Sometimes it's just puberty and as you grow up they go by themselves
you could always manly it up and exfoliate your face everysingletime you take a shower, and take a shower like 5 times a day
wait for beautiful face
I find that I get worse acne breakouts the longer I stay awake and every time I forget about hygiene. It's not like I forget to wash my hands after using the toilet or not showering for days but I tend to rush these things and parts of me remain kind of dirty.
My ears probably harbour the worst kinds of bacteria but fortunately only ever had one impetigo outbreak in my ears (kind of felt like acne but inside an ear).
My acne was mostly large bumps below my chin or near hairline which never fully surfaced. Sore as hell.
Choose to eat Roaccutane (Isotretinoin) for half a year, killed the fuckers, one of the best decisions I've made. Taking cold or lukewarm showers keeps any lesser zits away.
Salicylic acid has always controlled it pretty well for me
Change dem pillow covers.
This was the best solution for me, changing my sheets regularly. Even today, as a 23 year old, if I forget to change my sheets every week I'll notice a few pimples popping up. As a teen, I just had a certain amount of uncontrollable acne and grew out of it around 17-18, but changing my sheets always played a huge factor in the quality of my skin as opposed to any products.
My acne is fucking bipolar, I swear it man.
I'm 18 right now, and some years between 12 and 17 I was acne free while others I looked like a fucking corn.
Right now it started to appear so the derma gave me some antibiotics. Only thing I'm afraid of is them leaving scars. Nothing else helped.
She said "Do not fucking eat cereals, anything with vitamin B will make it worse"
But well, perfection ain't interesting, right?
One of my main issues is that I find it hard to apply anything to my face whenever I have facial hair because the hair seems to interfere or maybe even absorb it. However, I can't shave my face too often (i.e. fewer than ~3 days in between), otherwise it ends up too red. What do?
Also, I've tried a lot of different "spot zappers" and anti-redness treatments like witch hazel, but none of them seem to have any effect on the actual redness. I'm not sure if I'm just resistant to them or if I'm doing it wrong. Not sure how to tell either.

Talk to a dermatologist about acutane. It works wonders by the second month. Except it makes your skin extraordinarily dry.
2nd for Accutane. I'm on my second course right now. The pros outweigh the cons when dealing with cystic acne imo.
I don't believe using all these complex remedies/methods should be an integral part of a person's life. If its that bad get yourself checked out. It's only $10/month during treatment--what do you have to lose?

Washing your face ins't a complex method, it's something you should be doing anyway. I was on accutane too and it was free (NHS), but with acne prone skin you can still get breakouts after
I don't want to go on roaccutane because i'm deathly afraid of blood tests.
Talk to a dermatologist about acutane. It works wonders by the second month. Except it makes your skin extraordinarily dry.
Not a fan of acutane, I took it and I became so dry I was literally cracking and bleeding from every orifices. Not to mention it might do quite a hit on your liver and you gotta get checked frequently, at least for me.
I always had only mild acne on my face, thankfully, but my biggest issue is explosive and huge fucking breakouts of giant pustules on my shoulders and back. Like on really bad days it's like bee stings filled with blood and pus. They hurt like fuck to boot.
I always wash my face, change my sheets, and all of the common things, but back and shoulder stuff just keeps coming. I hate taking off my shirt on hot days, at the pool, or even for my girlfriend and shit when I have a random breakout, it's really bad and embarrassing.
wash your face with vodka
My acne is mostly gone but my cheeks are full of scars, guess I am one of the unlucky ones... 21 years old. It looks horrible when light shines from the top or from the bottom on my face since you see the shadows of the scars/craters which make them look even worse on my face.
I am the moon
mixing a little bit of honey and lemon and letting it sit on your face for ~5 min a few times a week is good for scars(and by lemon i dont mean putting a whole lemon on your face, but squeezing a few drops of liquid out and mixing that with some honey).

I tried this for ~2 months morning and evening, spent about 40 quid on it, no conceivable change - or rather, advantage over natural scar fading.
Something else you can use for scars is a strong salicylic acid (like 30%) which will peel your skin and force it to re-grow over time

Wow, really? Right now I'm looking into pretty much anything drastic short of roaccutane, and that's only because i have a massive fear of blood tests.
How to deal with acne inside nostril, it's pretty annoying to get them.
Change your diet (primarily dairy).
Anyone know of any alternates to treating scars that doesn't involve small torture devices? If not, does that small pin wheel of spikes work?
I started lab-practice for my training to be a Surgical Tech. Im scrubbed in all the time (and will be for the next few years). I have to wear PPE + be sterile. Which means I have to wear a face mask, which means i pretty much get to moisten my face with my breath for 4-8 hours a day. I need to find a way to keep my break outs under control, because I may as well be rubbing burger grease on my face. Any ideas?

Salicylic acid, Bio Oil, fillers, etc. I had a consultation with a cosmetic clinic who told me what they thought the best option would be
Just remember to NOT use pills against it.
Used medicile methodes when I was a kid. Worked great, but made me depressive as fuck.
dunno man, I used to look like a pizza, started popping Tetralysal two times a day for 6 months. I was pretty much clear of everything after 3 weeks.
Worked wonders in conjunction with benzoyl peroxide.
I haven't used any of them in forever, and I'm still clear of acne.

My doc gave me that and it severely fucked up my skin, it became so fucking dry. Luckily afterwards it was completely gone for a long while but nowadays it starts coming back but never really that bad, it's still really annoying. When I see the face of my gf, it looks perfect without any scar or mark. I'm jealous of that.
