i dont get it the hill doesn't look to bad whats the deal here
*it turns left*
oooooooooooh
Expected it to go that way. There's always that one freaking cliff on every ski slope that you're fucking frightened off as a kid and have nightmares of uncontrollably sliding down there.
Well, that's not quite skiing, but still, a nightmare.
this is my new phobia
I've been in those things before
Not on a hill but running around like a little hamster in a field
They are cool as fuck, if I do ever go on a hill ride I'll be sure to check if the hill doesn't lead off the side of a fucking mountain
I've been down a hill in one with my brothers, was great fun
although seeing that zorb hit those rocks and blob around like jelly, jesus fuck
Can you imagine just looking at the other person thinking "fuck fuck fuck fuck there is absolutely nothing we can do right now to save ourselves"
oh shit imagine still being trapped in there looking at the person opposite you who in now dead, that would be horrible
Seamed okay, Thought i was gonna hit rocks or some people at first then nope goes left and its like ohhhhh shieeeeeeet.
Updated with more information.
I read it as russian zoidberg accent, damn I was shocked and slightly disappointed.
Meanwhile, in Russia-
"Weak capitalist spies punished by Glorious Motherland herself as loyal patriots punish capitalist scum by rolling them down hill and off Glorious cliff. True soviet rejoices, drinks much vodka."
I wonder how long it will take for me to feel like shit after making a Super Monkey Ball joke.

Hmm... that's a different event, back in 2009. Oddly similar though, with one person dying and the other barely surviving. At least in that one, it says they used a net, but the net broke. Here, it looks like they really just expected it to stop and made no effort to have a fail-safe.
These things should have some sort of emergency deflate function or whatever so that it stops rolling.
It seems like they were just expecting the ball to stop, and somehow not follow the curve and steepness of the terrain. I mean, how stupid can you be, most people learn this at the age of 3 when playing with bouncing balls.

One of the sources in this thread says the ball was supposed to be caught in a net but the net broke.

No, that was a different accident, in Czech Republic in 2009.
