Oh phobias suck bad! I feel for you, I myself have a huge problem with spider and wasps. Fucking wasps. They're everywhere and i can't help myself. People usually just say: "Durrr you have to stay still and they will leave you alone". Well it doesn't help that they start flying against your face then. And they are attracted to every fucking kind of meal. It has ruined so many barbeques for me :( The whole yellow/black pattern scares me on any type of insect (bees, bumblebees)...and the worst motherfucker of all...HORNETS

But fuck what, if I sit still it's going to be crawling all over me. I run the fuck away as soon as I see a wasp and don't come back until the problem is solved.
I am afraid of horses. They are so damn ugly and they smell so bad. I can't explain how or why, but fear catch me a soon as I see one of those beasts..
Homophobe.
I'll show you something to have a phobia about
I have Apiphobia (fear of bees, hornets, and wasps), considering I was stung by several of them when I was a kid. [sp]incoming "OH GOD NOT THE BEES!!!" joke[/sp]
I had this for one day. My mum was trying to swat a wasp, and she got stung horribly. It was at that moment we discovered she had an extremely painful alergic reaction to them, but at the time I figured that wasps must just have a stronger stinger than I thought they did. So she had to go to the hospital, but since it was early and I wasn't dressed she couldn't take me with her. So I was trapped in my house deathly afraid of anything that made a vague buzzing sound. I couldn't go to my computer room because that was where the wasp was (I had locked it in), and I didn't feel safe anywhere but my room, which had a door that fit perfectly into the frame so nothing could get through. It was utterly terrifying because I kept thinking of all the ways a wasp could get in and sting me. Keep in mind, my mother was in tears from the pain by the time she left, and I'm not too good with stings to begin with. It was utterly terrifying.
I hate heights. Well, not so much heights so much as the falling from them. If I'm near a waist-high railing and there's a drop at least one floor down, I'll just tense up completely. Same goes for if anyone else is near the drop. My legs are ready to collapse from underneath me when someone actually goes and sits on said rail.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Solipsism Would this count as a phobia? Seems kinda like a mental disorder to me ._. I hate it... Makes me think I'm the only real person alive.

Solipsism syndrome is a dissociative mental state.[citation needed]
Seems more like a philosophical condition because its kind of theoretical fear NASA has about astronauts.
There was this one time when some dude in class knew I was afraid of needles, so he thought it would be funny to pretend he was gonna poke me with it. He got facepunched and had to walk around with a blue eye the rest of the week.
I have homophobia. GOD HATES FAGS
I have homophobia. GOD HATES FAGS
I hope you aren't serious.
arachnophobic, entomophobic (insect fear), minor trypophobia, Ligyrophobia, and lastly, altophobic
LIGHTNING.
Lightning made me freak out as well. I also got over that. I guess I'm just a champ at fighting phobias or something. :v:
I have hippopotomonstrosesquippedaliophobia, fear of long words. But in a serious tone, I have Arachnophobia (so fucking common!), Catoptrophobia Autophobia, and the list goes on. Ah, yes, and Nyctophobia. Look them up.
I have homophobia. GOD HATES FAGS
Your avatar creeps me the fuck out
I have a fear of open spaces. Like if I can see the horizon on all sides. I also can't look out into space in say, Star Wars, I have to focus on the ships. It originated from a early age falling through the level in Driver. Something about falling into the sky box forever, never reaching a bottom, just having nothingness freaked the shit out of me. I still freak out if I fall through the floor in a game. If I noclip through the floor I have to look at the level.
Chilopodophobia (Fear of centipedes) I fucking hate those things they freak me out
I have a phobia of having phobias. Fuck.
Hey OP, I'm no fucking doctor, but I think I might know the reason behind the fear. Maybe it's that even though you know the animals are dead, they can appear to be alive in some cases. (INB4 Chuck Testa jokes) Like maybe it's the fact that they seem to be in a state of limbo or something like that. Just trying to help.
Slight Coulrophobia.....I don't really have that phobia, I just get uncomfortable when I see a clown,
I don't enjoy being on top of high steep roofs, but I wouldn't call it a phobia.
Nightphobia?
Needles.
I forgot to mention that I have claustrophobia as well. I can't stand being stuck in a straight, narrow hall with lots of people walking through them.
"A phobia (from the Greek: φόβος, Phóbos, meaning "fear" or "morbid fear") is a type of anxiety disorder, usually defined as a persistent fear of an object or situation in which the sufferer commits to great lengths in avoiding, typically disproportional to the actual danger posed, often being recognized as irrational. In the event the phobia cannot be avoided entirely the sufferer will endure the situation or object with marked distress and significant interference in social or occupational activities" http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phobia about 85% of this thread doesn't know the difference between a phobia and "getting kind of freaked out when I see (blank)"
I have no phobias that I know of, I'm glad for that. Aside from Anatidaephobia but I'm not sure if that's considered "real"
I have a phobia of my own penis. Everytime I see one glimpse I just go into a panic attack. Worst part is when I have to clean up after I take a piss.
I am arachnophobic and a Katsaridaphobic (Phobia of cockroaches) whenever I see a cockroach I run away, same with spiders.
I am terrified of the idea of flaying. It's at the top of my list of non-fatal things that can be done to someone.
I really need help with my phobia now
Don't bother with a doctor, talk to someone empathetic. Doesn't even need to be a psychologist or psychiatrist, just someone to compare notes with for hours on end. It's sure to make you feel better, and give you retrospective on the nature of your fear. Dissecting and understanding something will help you move past it, in most cases.
Arachnophobia here. Small spider? Scream. Big spider? Scream. Any size of spider, so long as I can or can not see it? Scream and try and find a place away from aforementioned spider. Living in a house that is almost constantly filled with spiders of any and all shapes, sizes and colours is driving me insane. Good ol' Australia, here to help my day-to-day life once more.
Are you near/in Sydney? The amount of huntsmen and funnelwebs is just awful here Actually having moved here from somewhere without any deadly anything, it feels like everything outdoors in Australia is out for your blood and discomfort :byodood:
well in my case it sucks double.... im schizophrenic and have autophobia.... DAMNIT MIND STOP FUCKIN WITH US!!!(puns)
