Obviously he meant the texture you create with mspaint manually.
Your texture techniques doesn't seem to vary much and that makes everything look like it's made of the same material.
That noisy effect doesnt look good on skin for instance.
I only have 2 distinct techniques. For shiny surfaces, use immediate shade transitions and high difference between dark and light. For matte surfaces, use noise and less difference in luminance. I don't know how else to do it. I'm not the emperor of Paint. :)
And sometimes I do make patterns to give things a better texture. This might be a bad example, but I worked really hard to give these jeans this sort of linear pattern that makes it look more like fabric. The problem with all that is that it's a pain the ass to do that for every pattern or texture in a picture. Especially the STALKER picture I made because it's one of the most complicated things I've ever drawn.

-Real men use MSPaint. (I use Paint 7 sometimes. ): )
-When drawing eyes it's best to imagine them as spheres rather than circles, and then draw the eyelid around it, in order to get the almond shape as realistic as possible.
-Irises usually have lines going out from the pupils into the whites and typically aren't a solid gradient.
-The whites of the eyes are, to my knowledge, not yellow, and have veins going through them.
-Basic netiquette dictates that you don't quote large, image-heavy posts with a one-sentence reply.
-The pencil tool often gives better looking lines than the curve tool does.
I'm not too good at drawing eyes myself, so ignore me.

The retina should be parabolic or closer to the upper eyelid and the iris should be parabolic to the lower eyelid
