That's true. According to what she says, there is some place that the dead (at least dead dreamselves) go.

I guess I could live with an ending where the kids create a new universe and the trolls live happily in some sort of heaven, with all of their love quadrants sorted out.
But knowing Hussie, it'll probably end with a bittersweet ending.
Some trolls should at least meet with the kids face to face at one point.

I didn't see a trail of blood before they fell down all those stairs, so I'm hoping that Karkat solved that problem. However, Sollux must've hit his head or back pretty hard when being knocked out. Going down stairs unconscious probably didn't help his head and back at all.
Remember, the first conversation between John and Karkat (from Karkat's perspective) took place after the conversation they had in the last update, and in the first conversation, the last thing John says is "See you soon!" John is still confident that they will meet, even after Karkat tells him that he may be dead.
I think that everyone who has died will just be recloned. All the remaining Trolls have to do is put bits of the dead body in the cloning machine I mean it's there in the lab it wont take much work.

Uh, cloning isn't what the ectobiology stations are meant to be used for. They're to serve as the genesis for the players through using appearifiers and paradox ghost slime. If ghost slime is taken and a perfect clone is created, then that paradox clone [I]will become[/I] the player in question, not live on as a clone. That only happens if there's mutations during the cloning sequence. I can imagine though that every paradox clone after one has already been created will result in mutations, since there's already clones eventually ending up as the players. Either way, it still doesn't help the trolls.

Jadesprite said that she was convinced that her sacrifice didn't save Dream John and that they both died, but she never found him in the afterlife and just moved on. That's because he never died, and when he ascended his soul was shuttled to his dreamself, so John never would have appeared in the afterlife in any form.

The kids' session is doomed, yes, but obviously, Rose is going to do everything she can to break the game, Dave exploits the rules the game made to the logical extreme, John is too optimistic to notice it's doomed and Jade is special in her own right. With the help of the trolls, they might actually break a loop of some sort.
But that's probably just wishful thinking.

It seems a bit odd that this would happen. Everything is orchestrated to make a new universe, so it's unlikely the stable time loops and whole "you can't fight fate" thing will be thrown out of the window.
Well, every game has glitches and loopholes. If it's at all possible to still win, they'll find a way.
Knowing Hussie, he probably has some sort of twist we won't see coming.
