I just have a small question here, because I somewhat got confused. At some point, Sollux dies because Karkat failed to get him in sgrub before the blub killed all those trolls. Fef kisses him and his dreamself wakes up. How exactly did his dreamself join with the other trolls? Or did his actual body get revived or what?
Once his dreamself woke up, he just flew away. Derse (where he awoke) is inside the incipisphere, just like all the Lands.
I like the trolls I hope they all don't die that would be stupid.
Once his dreamself woke up, he just flew away. Derse (where he awoke) is inside the incipisphere, just like all the Lands.
So he just met up with the others and changed his clothes?
So he just met up with the others and changed his clothes?
Basically yes. His dreamself appeared by Feferi in his home after she kissed him.
Basically yes. His dreamself appeared by Feferi in his home after she kissed him.
Okay, thanks. And his other dreamself died when prospit and derse were destroyed by bec noir?
Okay, thanks. And his other dreamself died when prospit and derse were destroyed by bec noir?
We assume so.
We assume so.
Very well. We'll see how the story continues. I don't want Hussie to undo the deaths, because that'd really fuck up the plot, but I hope they will at least be able of interacting with the living or, at the very least, each other in some way. It's never explained what happened to Jade's dreamself when she died, right? Apparently she had friends, so...

According to what she says, there is some place that the dead (at least dead dreamselves) go.
That's true. But knowing Hussie, it'll probably end with a bittersweet ending.
Some trolls should at least meet with the kids face to face at one point.
If he leaves Sollux, Gamzee will kill him. But if he drags Sollux's unconscious body around, Gamzee's going to easily follow the trail of blood straight to them and kill them both. Karkat's cleaned and dressed stab wounds before; he needs to do that again if he wants to keep them both alive. He went to great lengths to conceal his own blood from his friends; it should be easy enough to do the same for his enemies. And what happened to all their portable communication devices? Everyone went to talking via the computers Sollux set up after hiding in the veil, but just about everyone had a form of communication that was small and compact with them by that time.
I didn't see a trail of blood before they fell down all those stairs, so I'm hoping that Karkat solved that problem. However, Sollux must've hit his head or back pretty hard when being knocked out. Going down stairs unconscious probably didn't help his head and back at all.
Remember, the first conversation between John and Karkat (from Karkat's perspective) took place after the conversation they had in the last update, and in the first conversation, the last thing John says is "See you soon!" John is still confident that they will meet, even after Karkat tells him that he may be dead.
I think that everyone who has died will just be recloned. All the remaining Trolls have to do is put bits of the dead body in the cloning machine I mean it's there in the lab it wont take much work.
That's true. According to what she says, there is some place that the dead (at least dead dreamselves) go.
Normal dead go there as well, her Dreamself met [a] John there.

They're to serve as the genesis for the players through using appearifiers and paradox ghost slime. If ghost slime is taken and a perfect clone is created, then that paradox clone will become the player in question, not live on as a clone. That only happens if there's mutations during the cloning sequence. I can imagine though that every paradox clone after one has already been created will result in mutations, since there's already clones eventually ending up as the players. Either way, it still doesn't help the trolls.
Normal dead go there as well, her Dreamself met [a] John there.
Jadesprite said that she was convinced that her sacrifice didn't save Dream John and that they both died, but she never found him in the afterlife and just moved on. That's because he never died, and when he ascended his soul was shuttled to his dreamself, so John never would have appeared in the afterlife in any form.

From the Homestuck wiki: "The Trolls' session offers a brief glimpse of the end of a Sburb session (or, in their case, a Sgrub session): A massive upright Sburb logo with a mysterious door, which leads to the reward for their efforts. However, they are interrupted by The Rift before claiming it. This reward was stated to be entry to a new universe which they had created - the Kids' universe. " Best case scenario: everybody lives, the kids make a new universe, enter it through this door and the trolls go with them. Worst case scenario: total party kill. The fact that we don't know which way the story's heading shows Hussie's talent.
Best case scenario: everybody lives, the kids make a new universe, enter it through this door and the trolls go with them.
The things making this implausible are that a) it's been said that the Kids' session was doomed from the beginning and b) half of the trolls are dead [editline]3rd February 2011[/editline] Or missing
Honestly, I can see an ending where everyone dies. And I'm okay with this.
The things making this implausible are that a) it's been said that the Kids' session was doomed from the beginning and b) half of the trolls are dead [editline]3rd February 2011[/editline] Or missing
The kids' session is doomed, yes, but obviously, Rose is going to do everything she can to break the game, Dave exploits the rules the game made to the logical extreme, John is too optimistic to notice it's doomed and Jade is special in her own right. With the help of the trolls, they might actually break a loop of some sort. But that's probably just wishful thinking. [editline]3rd February 2011[/editline]
Honestly, I can see an ending where everyone dies. And I'm okay with this.
It seems a bit odd that this would happen. Everything is orchestrated to make a new universe, so it's unlikely the stable time loops and whole "you can't fight fate" thing will be thrown out of the window.
Well, every game has glitches and loopholes. If it's at all possible to still win, they'll find a way.
Knowing Hussie, he probably has some sort of twist we won't see coming.
Knowing Hussie, he probably has some sort of twist we won't see coming.
Gamzee kills every one, uses some ass pull to get them all to god tier. Fucking called it.
I just had a terrible thought. What if Homestuck ended like :lost:?
I just had a terrible thought. What if Homestuck ended like :lost:?
Then CNN's headlines the next day would read "Internet artist culled, police officers dismayed at egregious display of violence. "We saw limbs two towns over," states local sherrif." No but seriously, Hussie would never do that. He's doing it for the art. As he once said: "This isn't a job for me, and I'll never modify my approach to protect a bottom line. If it was just a job, I guarantee I wouldn't spend every waking hour doing it. It's kind of a strange personal mission I'm on, which I happen to make money from, and that's cool. People are welcome to come along for the ride."

I've said it multiple times, perkele. [editline]3rd February 2011[/editline] Also

http://chat.zingled.com/ Apparently some people do a horrible yet hilariously bad Homestuck roleplay, the best is when they hit on you :smug:
