Hussie really likes bringing up long-forgotten things and making them relevant again. First was the Denizens, who he says will become more relevant when their time comes, and now the troll-perspective of angels. I like this update, but I didn't hear anything when I tried turning on Heir Conditioning, I wonder why.

Eridan hunting them was probably him thinking about proving his power by slaughtering the creatures known to cause extinctions and believing that he's giving hope to the trolls by slaying the angels that would inevitably cause their deaths. It would be like Feferi or Vriska on a planet full of weakened Bec Noirs; they'd be slaughtering the population to prove their strength against a legendary foe and to save their friends.
