Nepeta: Watching Equius and Gamzee. (Presumably about to leap out and fight Gamzee)
Terezi: Sleuthing in the Computer lab.
Vriska: ??? (Probably admiring Nick Cage)
Eridan: Gone batshit insane, location unknown.
Equius: DEAD.
Kanaya: DEAD. (Her body is missing)
Tavros: DEAD.
Feferi: DEAD.
Aradia: ROBOTSPLODE! (But secretly she is in her God Tier form)

This feels like andrew wants to end homestuck fast now. All the trolls dying so fast. Maybe I am wrong, but it feels like it.
Anyway, it will be fun to watch how gamzee awesomely kills them all :v:

I'm really feeling Andrew is just setting up these deaths as the setup of something bigger. Maybe we should wait to see where he's going with all this before we all start giving up on the comic because he killed off a few minor characters.

He did do that Formspring reffering to the 'bigger picture'. And Hussie does like his complicated plans and plots.
I'm really disappointed that Equius turned out to be extremely 1 dimensional. He had the most loyal moirail and constantly defied his "durrr racism" quirk, but yet he went strait back to it all in not even tying to save his own life against Gamzee. Hussie even admitted he would have survived if he even just tried to resist the bow string. He didn't even need to fight back, he just needed to stop accepting his own death.
Guess this is what I get for my 2 favorite trolls being completely unimportant to the story.

i think i'm mad because hussie's becoming too normal
problem sleuth went on with no plot, being the dumbest and best thing, and it was good
homestuck isn't that, it's like hussie is trying to write an actual story, but he's never done that so it's clumsy
i'd like to just sleep until his next adventure when he's worked a writing style out

How could you even like Equius that much? His entire role in the story was to be a huge fucking joke.

I do find it very clumsy how he died. If anyone had a reason to want to live, it would be Equius. He had to protect Nepeta, he was told he would see Aradia again, and hell, he loved being strong. I guess he loved being weak more for the sake of letting himself die to his racism. Something that he challenged almost the entire stretch of his on screen time.
And andrew's only reply to that all? "Durrrr, he liked horse porn, I don't understand how you guys liked him even! He was just asking to die!"

No he didn't. That's my whole problem with this. He let himself die. Kanaya died a honorable death trying to fight back, Feferi died a honorable death, Equius just decided "You know what? I want to die today."
He actually had to try to die, given if he had even tensed his muscle a bit the string would have just snapped.
Equius had always followed the blood hierarchy like it was law, that's why he allowed Gamzee to kill him. He couldn't possibly disobey a higher blood.
That and his perverse obsession with being bossed around.

1. Without suggestions he managed to take the plot to some really amazing places.
2. The trolls were awesome.

Yes, but that's only when a living player dreams with a dead dreamself, not when both are dead. The only troll that we know still has an impact on the story after death and dreamself death is Feferi; the others may be gone for good. But knowing Aradia, she could just summon the ghosts of the dead again to meet with Equius, but I'm thinking that she wanted to see him again while he was alive instead.
I'm actually at a loss here. I've been reading MSPA's Homestuck since the beginning, but I lost a bit here: since when is it Gamzee who is murdering fellow trolls? And why is Karkat all over Gamzee even after he's seen Eridan kill 2 other trolls and knock out a third?
