Well, if Jade's dreams about her past are any foreshadowing, she's not really gone. When Jade was remembering Feferi examining the Uberbunny as she was constructing it, Feferi claimed to be dead. If that event is in Feferi's future, then she's still somehow able to interact with the living and we can hope to see her again sometime later.

Eridan said he plans to help Kanaya plant the matriorb after doing what he came to the lab to do... so I think he'll only kill Kanaya or Karkat if they openly try to stop him from joining with Bec Noir.

The only character that might be missed is probably the short guy with C4 on his head, and not because any of them are heavily developed at that point.
So he wanted to cause the genocide of the land dwellers, but the only troll he's killed so far was a sea dweller. And now he's the only one left, so if he dies, that's it for sea dwellers.

It's weird having all the trolls start dying left and right. Hardly any of the trolls have been well developed, which is sort of the only problem Homestuck has. There are still a bunch of characters we know a little bit about, but not a lot, and they're still treated like main characters. Andrew himself said that the story sort of chugged when he introduced all the trolls, but he also said it would pick up later, and it has, but I still feel, I dunno, sort of weird having characters die and told I'm supposed to feel something for them. When Feferi died recently I was like "Well... she's dead. Okay I guess." :\
