Homestuck's actually a lot easier to follow than any of you give it credit for, people just jump on minor details or things that clearly don't need to be explained yet if ever and spaz until it's clarified.

Homestuck makes complete sense when you read it. If you view this thread without reading it, you would be confused as fuck. I thought for the longest time that Sburb was a MMO RPG and the troll were avatars of the players. Metal Gear is also confusing, but somewhat grounded in reality. I have a decent grasp on that. If you put J. J. Abrams onto something and market it with an ARG, you will tangle that storyline so much it won't see the light on sense ever again. Cloverfield is confusing, Lost requires a degree in insanity to figure out, and that's not including all the backstory, sidestory, frontstory, sidewaystory and upsidedownstory that happens. THEN you add the ARGs, I read the wiki for a bit, the maze-like format of the site not helping, and in the end you have a huge heap of the story on the ground, a bigger mess than before.
The music rocks though
And trollkind is now completely doomed to go extinct.
