Now I'm worried for Rose. He wanted to duel her, and he just received practice for their duel by defeating three players at the top of their echeladders and killed the latter two. He claims that his Wand of White Science vastly overpowers Rose's Thorns of Oglogoth, but I'm not so sure about that.

I hight doubt that Eridan would be able to take Rose in a fight. Eridan is like a disgruntled high schooler with a gun. Sure he has a gun and he will shoot you dead, but he isn't too bright about it.
