The only thing that bugs me about all this, is that if the Martiorb is so important, why the hell didn't Kanaya take it to a safe place while Eri and Sollux were dueling? Okay, Eridan told her to wait for him, but still, leaving it on the ground is a bit irresponsible.
Then again, these events might have transpired too fast for her to react.
