well I only just caught up on homestuck at the flash where it ends with eridan v sollux a few days ago. I havent really discussed it with anybody yet. All I knew of lord english was when it had the writer and there was >dont turn out to be lord english and he covered the 4th wall with his coat
any other mention of lord english I probably thought it was talking about the white text guy so I didnt pick up on it

How the fuck can anybody read a story and think "Nahh i'll skip that bit", it's like skipping a couple of pages in a book then complaining you don't understand whats happening.

at the time it felt more like skipping the adverts on a tv recording... I didnt think the intermission was very important but I did get a but suspicious when people from it started showing up... so yeah I always did think Id go and read up on it eventually but at the time it seemed like something the writer did just as a break from homestuck... for whatever reason he would do that

because it was marked as an intermission, and i still understand pretty much everything that's been thrown at us so far, whatever i didnt understand i just sifted through the wiki for V:v:V

Why would you listen to anything he says regarding what affects the plot or not.
It is still there as a part of the story, it wouldn't be there if it didn't have somthing to do with it.
