I'm honestly debating wether I shuld ust stop reading this. Hussie had ruined my favorite character, killed 3 other's

I've been told the MSPA forums is having a shit storm
I can't even come close to comprehending this. Is there no one in the fan base who reads anything else? Whoever is complaining about the MINIMAL character death so far really should read a Stephen King book and then come back and attempt to complain over losing their "favourite" character or a whole slew of people suddenly dying off. For gogs sake has anyone in the fan base ever read Hamlet?
Just saying, he might not have meant dead body. :ohdear: It would be just like doc scratch to be deliberately obtuse to create doubt that anything at all could be wrong while distracting karkat from the real threat, while technically not lying at all.

Vriska could maybe possess him or something, though that kind of seems unlikely because I don't see any reason why Vriska would go trying to kill everybody as well. She has no reason to kill anyone except Tavros really. Tavros was trying to kill her, so she killed him. Good enough reason. Or maybe it might just be a simple case of Sollux waking up and thinking Karkat killed them. Damn, lots of people dying, but it definitely picks up the pace a lot. oooh all the theorising to be done!

While depressing, this is the best thing that has happened to Homestuck. Really adds more depth to the story.

All of his stories are essentially the same, so people expect the characters to die. People come into Homestuck expecting kids and fun, not Alien-esque paranoia and death. Also, Stephen King didn't crack jokes about each character as they died.

This is probably why I have found this entire arc awesome. :) Also, while this is my personal opinion on the matter, 'Bard of Fate' sounds like a suitable title of Gamzee. The theme of fate is all over the place in homestuck, with paradox clones being made thanks to a conflict with destiny, the entire kids session fated to be sterile, and along with a tonne of other ones, Gamzee's destiny to subjuggaloate all the other trolls has now been revealed. His fate has been revealed (or at least, his supposed fate).
does anybody have any Eridan pictures for the update notifier
An atmosphere of relative peace has been developed between the trolls, but the sudden change in atmosphere made people upset. People feel sad because characters they got used to and characters they started to like got killed off. While it is a sudden and heavy change, it's good for the story.
While depressing, this is the best thing that has happened to Homestuck. Really adds more depth to the story.
yesssss, thank you.
The recent updates make the troll story much more interesting, I don't see why so many people are upset
[img_thumb]http://www.mspaintadventures.com/storyfiles/hs2/03216.gif[/img_thumb] Also, the lines are parallel, thus that would most likely mean that he is going after Nepeta. Not late, just making practically sure that Karkat is not the one who did this.
The recent updates make the troll story much more interesting, I don't see why so many people are upset
I hate when lots of characters die, even though it's an interesting twist, it's still sad
Well sorry I don't like the fact that we've gone through a serious mood whiplash in the story and the fact he completely changed a character with little reason. I did overeact to the update I fully admit that but don't question whether I have read anything else. /rant

It's only natural people are confused when supposedly good guys start killing each other. Tavros dying was easily bearable due to him not even really having much character development, but three deaths in a row (and most likely more to come) just somehow seems absurd. Not to even mention that there's soon gonna be no trolls left to meet the kids face-to-face :v: [editline]25th January 2011[/editline]
Well sorry I don't like the fact that we've gone through a serious mood whiplash in the story and the fact he completely changed a character with little reason. A part of the fanbase seems to have reacted the same way (how you did) and it just throws me. If everything was constantly unchanged and everything remained at status quo I personally think the story would be bland when looked back at as a whole. And it certainly isn't like he changed character personalities with no reason. In Eridan's case he had even explicitly stated his original intents. Feferi acted as a check on that aspect of him. With her removed it makes sense that he wouldn't care anymore. As for Gamzee saying that Hussie "completely changed a character with little reason" is paramount to saying Aradia's bot exploding was "for no reason" before we had seen the reason. Don't count your chickens until they've hatched.
this is a great change it makes me remember how awesome some guys were eridian with his SCIENCE WAND and also shooting the angels for like a minute until they died goddamn

This is just the most vibrant characterization we've seen of such.
also: i have been told/heard about aradia coming back to life or something and also freezing time to stop jack but i am not sure where that even shows up, i haven't seen it ???
also: i have been told/heard about aradia coming back to life or something and also freezing time to stop jack but i am not sure where that even shows up, i haven't seen it ???
That's in [S] Wake. It turned out that she had a dreamself all along, but it was in a vampiric, undead-like state. It was always on her quest bed, so when Bec Noir destroyed Derse the green flames killed Aradia's dreamself. This caused her to ascend to the god tiers, and she timelocked Bec Noir for 4 hours and 13 minutes.
Also I only just realized that Feferi got killed two times in a row :v:
Oh, right, I remember that oops
Gamzee coming from a high and noble military class explains why he never even had to upgrade his juggling pins.
In Alterniabound, they're described as being the shittiest weapons ever.
