As good as this art gets, I wish that the fanartists would draw dead characters similarly to the way they're depicted in the comic: with white sclera, no pupils and irises, and having legs. Only the Sprites lack legs.

It sounds more like Karkat just considered her as a damn good friend, as he called her the only one of his friends who was completely sane. It was implied that Karkat and Terezi were matesprits, and Kanaya was Vriska's moirail.
