Sadly, all good things must come to an end. MSPA is the same way, and I think Andrew said that he probably wouldn't start a new series after Homestuck.

But the imperative thing is that the blood appears to be in diagonal streaks across Gamzee's face. Blood splatters don't do that. Gamzee is also aristocracy, as he also has purple blood, but it isn't deep enough to warrant him living underwater, but next to the ocean. His lusus is a sea-goat, remember? The most obvious interpretation of this picture is that he got in a fight with Nepeta or someone who wields a melee that cuts, and the currently surviving trolls who do wield those are Karkat with his sickles, Nepeta with her claws,and Terezi with her cane-swords. He could have also fought Jack Noir, but judging form the current situation it was most likely one of the trolls.
