Of those, Sollux, Aradia, Nepeta, and Vriska's dreamselves are dead (as far as we know). Anyone who was on the same moon as Nepeta is dead too because Jack destroyed it, as Dream-Kanaya is seen in the most recent update.
Why these pointless buildups? I mean, this wasn't even shocking because it was mostly expected.

Really awful writing, for once I think Andrew really really fucked up.
Seriously so much build off with no payoff makes the last few updates quite literally pointless. If one of them had been revived at least it would be a different story but still. Bad writing ugh

The squealing dumbass fanboy in me wants to lash back and say it's just Hussie making sure he gets the maximum shit fueled giggles out of trolling his fanbase but I'm going to have to agree with you.
