There has to be something after "death".
Take for instance what happened to Jade. She died while she was still her dream self. Although she was thrown back into her real self, her dream self was still "alive". When she prototyped Becsprite with her dead dream self, the newly JadeBecsprite went balistic because she was taken from her "friends", etc. This implies that she was going off being "alive" with what ever friends she had (she never stated who they were, remember?). It is possible that the game has a "Null" area where DEAD players go when they die (Dream and Real). It is possible that the Trolls and Kids "Null Void" are connected because of the scratch.
There are a lot of possible theories out there.
It is a little confusing but it at least it provides some hope that the dead trolls won't stay dead.

Since lower bloods have a higher tendency to psychic powers, and Aradia was connected with the dead(and listened to the voices thereof), I think her special case had the ghosty stuff in origin, rather than ghostifying kisses.

when saving the gif change the layer manipulation method to "Replace" instead of "Combine"
I'd put this to you all at this point; if both of them had been successfully resurrected, it would make their deaths cheap. If they're going to get rezzed, after such a dramatic series of events that led to both their demises, it should be difficult. It should not happen three days later (or in story-timeline, about five minutes later), with a simple kiss.
