Their has to be god, Think about it. •How can matter exist from nothing if there is no god •How do we have Laws of Physics that allow us to live if there is no god? •How can we have perfect body structures if there is no god? •How are we intelligent enough to comunicate as Perfectly as we do if there is no god? •The Internet •Pizza •Women.... The list goes on! We are blessed with this life because of the almighty, Praise the lord!
Who cares. God is supposed to be all forgiving. Not worshipping isn't a sin. And i have not killed anyone yet. So i guess i am safe. :v:

We might look perfect, but human body could have so much more improvements. We are intelligent because otherwise we would fail to survive. We can't hunt or defend without external tools.
Well, atheist people take it as this. Your old, 82. And your walking to mcdonalds to get some coffee and maybe a bigmac, And then after ordering and eatting. What if god shows up and takes you with him to get judged. then, what are you gonna do if god exists? What you're gonna do if you end up in hell?
Which God are you talking about? This sounds like Pascal's Wager to me. Also which form of hell are you talking about? In most forms of hell I wouldn't be able to do much about it i guess...
If god exists he'll be all "okay you aren't a crazy fundamentalist you can chill with me in Heaven"
If God exists he must be exactly like me and think exactly as I do.
If God exists he must be exactly like me and think exactly as I do.
Well yes, everyone has their own god.
[editline]01:09AM[/editline]
Well yes, everyone has their own god.
Yeah. For example, Alan Moore worships a hairy snake god with the head of Paris Hilton.

"I did right by my fellow man. I don't worship you or anyone else. If that isn't good enough for you, fuck off. Do what you will with me, I'll stand by my convictions."
Yeah. For example, Alan Moore worships a hairy snake god with the head of Paris Hilton.
I really don't get your comment. Are you mocking me or what
Religion and science are both the same story albeit told in a different language. The biggest difference, however, is that religion seeks unlikely and dogmatic explanations for the most generic queries while science persues their main goal; research on those matters. Believers are mostly shortsighted idiots who do not care to know the difference between real and true morals and lousy morals (religion).
Well, non Buddhist people take it as this. Your old, 82. And your walking to Burger King to get some Whoppers and maybe a Whopper, And then after ordering and eatting. What if Buddha shows up and takes you with him to Nirvana. then, what are you gonna do if Buddha exists? What you're gonna do if you end up reincarnated? as a turtle?
Ask buddha to give me a shotgun lol
If (the christian) God Exists we're all fucked. I say so be it.
Religion and science are both the same story albeit told in a different language.
No
No
Metaphorically said. In the end, it's all about "why" we are. No?
Metaphorically said. In the end, it's all about "why" we are. No?
The difference is that scientific theories can be supported by observable phenomena. Religious stories are a fairy tale. But sure, they're similar in that they both attempt to provide an answer. Science just makes a greater attempt.
Metaphorically said. In the end, it's all about "why" we are. No?
Science and religion are the same thing in the same way Homeopathy and modern medicine are the same thing.
If there a god I'll tell him to go fuck himself for all the misery I have had in my life so far. Also if there a hell I'll see my fellow FP'ers there.
They don't worship Buddha, They respect him. Buddha isn't a god, he was many persons throughout time who achieved a level of meditation. Buddha is a title.
Man I banged that girl down the street. She was so Buddha.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pascal's_Wager
Pascal's Wager is ridiculous, it assumes the following: 1 - God actually cares for us and what happens to us after death (LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL) 2 - There is a hell and there's a risk of going there 3 - Humans are so unique and important they have their own dimension where the deceased are alive :raise:
Bargain and sway him with a coffee and a big mac.
If there was unequivocal, irrevocable proof god exists, Man, with his technology and knowledge would, for all intents and purposes, find a way to usurp God.
Can someone just answer this for me? If there isn't a God, why does everything exist? Where did it come from? Why does everything behave the way it does, and why does everything do what is does? Explain how the universe was created, and why. That's all I want to know.

This is the way things are because this is how things turned out. It's not rocket science. And as for when things came into existence, as I've explained what we know leads us to believe they never did come into existence. They've just always existed.

Stuff doesn't happen for no reason at all.
Stuff doesn't happen for no reason at all.
Stuff happens because something happened before it.
It's not like I'm one of the bible nuts that spend their whole life on the worshiping of our god, but even if that's what I want to do, I'd be living life the way I'd want to. And even if God doesn't exist, no harm done in believing in him (assuming you aren't one of the psychos that kill over religion)
