Seriously, what has anyone ever told you if someone picks on you? Just ignore them! This works even better on the internet. The girl should have done the same. This whole incident would have been over by now if she just stopped after the first video, nothing would have gone beyond the youtube comments. But instead, she thinks that making another video of her crying and having her dad blabber will make /b/ (or the general public for that matter) quiet.
I just can't believe the media made her look like the victim. Someone should have just told that thick headed-family that it's shit talking. Instead, the complaint and demand for change in attitude was directed to the masses. A couple years ago near my town, a girl set herself on fire in her car because her boyfriend told her that she had a big ass. Rather than the moral of the incident being what you would usually expect, we were told to be more "sensitive". I'm sorry, but if I can't make a joking or even a malicious comment without fear of that person killing themselves over it, there is a serious problem. The same goes for this situation, let our society harden the fuck up and learn how to take a bullet, it would be for the better.
In this girl's case, if you're going to make a part of yourself public to the masses, be expected to be critiqued by the masses. It's not cyber bullying.
