That's why I only use technical drawings. That drawing of the Blackhawk came from a U.S. Army manual. I don't think the person who drew it up was thinking it was an artistic milestone.

You know, aside from it not being yours and not being suitable for PW...
The only problem with this is finding a good tech drawing to base the design off.

Not done yet, I still have to fix the Jpeg'd back half of the car, colour it, resize it then fix it all.

It looks to me like you just found a blueprint and filled in the white spaces. you want to redraw the vehicle entirely.

Same here, it looks like you cleaned up the original picture and then colored it in. you need to draw the outline of your vehicle [I]over[/I] the picture.

Yeah you want to draw over the reference picture entirely and then get rid of the reference and leave just your drawn outline. Then your actually re-creating something. By just coloring it in your not creating the vehicle, only coloring it, you know?
