Those things hang outside of my house. They like wait and just get on you they suck ass.
But if you walk kind of slowly they'll follow your head and you can walk by a friend and take off and it'll get stuck on them.
I always get these and my dad tries to catch one then he ties a string around their legs and lets me control them around like its my pet. It's hard to catch one but once you get one it's fun to have it as your pet for a day.

Oh gawd, my cousin used to smack em' to the floor then I pulled out my Desert Eagle Airsoft Mobster style and shot it in the stomach, the pellet got stuck in it, but it was already dead so go figure.

Yes, those are two bugs attached to each other. They are mating. They stay that way even when they fly, and they are NOT shy about crawling on you.

I have a similar bug. White belly, brown, triangle-shaped. Earlier this month one terrorized me all night, caught it the next day, released it. Just tonight there was another one. I caught it and flushed it this time.

I feed june bugs to my lizard when I can't get grasshoppers or crickets.
Good thing I only see them when im camping. Their not much of a problem here...but then again..I dont even have the desirable bugs where I live.
I LOVE Junebugs, they're around almost all the time near where I live during the summer.

When I was younger, I lived in this semi rural area. My house was surrounded by trees so when summer came, the cicadas and frogs were deafening. I've since moved..I really miss all the cicadas.
June bugs don't bother me. I am rather use to them when it comes to their season. In fact let them craw on me because they are harmless. Now if they did sting, that would be a different story. hehe.
Wait this bug sounds like fun (The Junebug I mean). I remember when I was a child, they would come into our cabin and knock themselves on the light.
