I got it immediately. And I love the contrast in style. Obviously it's just like "His life flashing before his eyes" so the images would be quick in his head. So to portray that, they look loosely drawn while still having an artistic quality to it.
I kind of wonder how it would look if you drew the bullet in yellow...

Arms seem small, and the blood on the wall is too high up to match the height of his actual wound. Overall very nice, though.
12 hours to go, this is going to be even harder to decide which one I deem the most worthy of winning this time (and I would love to have more than one winner, but it kinda defeats the purpose if more than one could be the winner :v:)

Sorry for the delay, I'm going to blame it on me spending so much time judging which one I feel is the most worthy and not on me procastinating.
So... Without further delay I'm going to pronounce the winner...

There were once again a tough call between a few people, mainly wewt! and Amilo and it were pretty much by the hair that I'm an Alt won. The reason is that it shows a battlefield, something that obviously is very much warfare. It's a good mix between using simple figures (the silhouettes) combined with some more intricate things such as the explosion that creates a tasty visual.
I were first going to pick wewt!s picture but I felt that there were something lacking, it were too concentrated with the memories and I think that fragments of memories could've been splattered out with the blood on one side and have some more coherent memories (if that makes sense) on the other side where the bullet enters.
Just too much space weren't filled when you had plenty of things that could be spread out. A great idea nonetheless, just didn't get it executed well enough in my opinion.
Amilo's were a nice change that sort of went with the theme of wewt!, it gives you a nice view of a soldier(?) wondering how it could come to this as he sees his home burn to ashes and it makes him wonder if it's really worth fighting for. I really haven't a good measuring stock for what Amilo is capable of but I think it's a good picture, it could've been the winner if there were slightly more details to it however.
Sadly I can't dwelve too much into the other pictures this time around, I see that Nyaa has taken some inspiration (or is it the other way around?) from his brother and I do like the art, it is kinda confusing though and I think it's even more so when it's the joker pissing on people.
It's nice to see Ohforf draw some humans, there is however a lack of detail that throws me off with him not having any hands at all (or rather said, there are no forearms or anything and it looks like he's letting his arms rest by his side with two flying machineguns) and it feels like it's only half finished.
A lot of pictures does feel half-finished actually, it's hard to decide whether it was finished or not when I had to judge. So I will call out for a new rule next time, and that is that you throw in :siren:FINISHED:siren: when you have a finished picture. :)
Well then, now comes the third challenge...

There is a kicker to this one however. You are allowed to pick [b]ONE(1)[/b] colour of your choice to accomodate your palette. This means you will have Black, White and the colour of your choice to draw what you think is fear.

Well, warfare actually is about killing. What you are talking about are the consequences of warfare, which could also fit the theme of warfare itself.
But in the end, does it matter wether a drawing conveys a message or not, or is the piece itself more important?

I was contemplating that too, however I think it would be unfair to have him win again even though it is a good picture and I don't think it's unreasonable to expect more of the last winner to oneup himself in the next competition. That way it should mix it up a bit with the winners and not only have one person have all the glory. Makes it less fun for everyone else if only one person wins all the time because he/she can produce high quality art over and over.
Think of it as raising the bar on what I expect from that person from now on, sort of!

That is a valid question and I always value message versus the piece itself when I try to decide which one I think is the most worthy of winning.

My piece is interesting. It can be viewed as many types of fear. I think it would be interesting to see you guys takes on this. As well as constructive criticism of course :v:
You may only choose one extra colour, you've just picked about five extra colours.
What Bftony said. When I said one colour I didn't mean that you could pick out different shades from it, only one single shade of the colour of your choice.
