WIP CC please
[editline]19th November 2010[/editline]
I hope using a light grey for the lighting doesnt count as a color, i could just use the white ofc but it doesnt look nearly as good.
[editline]19th November 2010[/editline]
And didnt you promise the next theme was going to be joyful Gregah? Ah well, suppose i cant complain[/QUOTE]
Only black, white and the colour of your choice.
Maybe I did, or maybe I didn't? :tinfoil:

Adapted version.[/QUOTE]
You're still using more colours than the ones I gave you (Black, White and ONE(1) colour, NO SHADES OF THAT COLOUR).

I doubt I'd even get a look in my direction due to it's simplicity and the fact it's butt-ugly.
A good way of drawing attention from yourself is trying to play the pity-card.
I have to say, that's a really innovative way to go around the bw-palette!
I want to remind you that you have to give constructive criticism to the artpiece posted before you, it doesn't matter how good you think it is or how bad you think you are ; There is always something that can be improved, so don't be afraid to say what you think looks wrong or could be changed.

God dammit now I'm depressed thinking about all this. :frown:
I actually quite like the simplicity of it though.
Also just wanted to say that I think bob4life did a very good job as well, just entered too late to finish up I suppose.

Gregah there is only three colours there: black, white and yellow. Check it yourself.

WIP--Slowly making it less of lineart with dark side spraycanned out and more properly shaded

I actually think very poorly of my drawings.
Also thanks. I can't really give some constructive criticism to a creeper though.

Damnit Lt Obvious! how am i meant to beat that?!
Oh well it was fun to make atleast.
Great job, try improving the hands abit, and add abit of bulk to the torso, he looks anorexic
[QUOTE=Thaard;26189152]Tried something different..
[img_thumb]http://filesmelt.com/dl/MOody.png[/img_thumb][/QUOTE]
I can't tell how this relates to fear.
[QUOTE=medal-12;26186841]Great job, try improving the hands abit, and add abit of bulk to the torso, he looks anorexic[/QUOTE]
I was trying to go for the 'small child' look, so small hands, not much detail, generally small body etc.
And in case you haven't noticed he also has a GIGANTIC head, so i suppose its to do with the way i drew it.
[QUOTE=DragonSpawn777;26190374]I can't tell how this relates to fear.[/QUOTE]
Paranoia. That theres some unidentifiable(and in this case surreal) person watching your every move in the dark.
Perhaps I should've made it clearer..

Now yes, the last picture were two shades of yellow.
Is current BW+one color of mah own choice?
[editline]21st November 2010[/editline]
fear as theme obviously
yes

It's not great, but I feel like I've done well with a laptop touchpad.
I really like yours, nyaa. One thing though, the bushes seem like they should have more detail, in my eyes. Also, on the right side of your image, you've got some paint on the border.
[editline]22nd November 2010[/editline]
Oh, and I'm not done, if I can work on it during Thanksgiving I will.
[editline]22nd November 2010[/editline]
Also, can you guess my perceived greatest fear?
I see failing, being broke, drowning, heartbreak, and then your house burning down, but I'm guessing there's a subtler message saying what your greatest fear is? I can't see it, although I think it has something to do with the giant "MEH". :v:
I'm not good at analyzing these things, but I definitely understand most of what your picture is saying. Good work.
I can handle any of those, I can fight those miniature fears.
However, my biggest fear of all is total apathy. The all-inclusive not caring for anything. A complete lack of feeling.
If I can no longer fear, then I am no longer human.
That's quite a counter-intuitive fear. Being afraid of not being afraid of anything.
[QUOTE=DragonSpawn777;26242124]That's quite a counter-intuitive fear. Being afraid of not being afraid of anything.[/QUOTE]
It's not "not being afraid of anything" so much as "not having emotions, feelings, not caring, ect." A side effect of not caring, not having feelings, is a lack of fear.
