DoTA 2 Source is essentially Quake
This just in : Barney is a fucking super hero.
They really know how to pick their security guards.

Time for explanations
You can use barrels to propel yourself through levels by pulling them towards you - a glitch that basically worked in early versions of hl2's source engine as well. In half life 1 and its two extensions, you can map a key in your settings you instantly turn around, the guy just uses this one key to quickly grab the barrel and perform a super jump. As for why the camera is upside down when he does this, it's probably for the same reason the fov is increased compared to the original game.
In Opposing Force a speed-runner used the same key to jump backwards while shooting with his machine gun, which gave him a bit more acceleration and in the late levels made him able to jump high ledges he wouldn't have been able to cross like that without backward propeled jumping.

I thought this was a really weird... coincidence. It'd be rash to say it's cheating, but it's... highly unlikely.
You wind up at 1 hp far too often for me to believe you weren't using Buddha.
On the WON version there was no buddha, but i don't know if he was using steam or not...
I like the parts that go too fast for me to even comprehend what the hell he's doing :v:

Correct. Buddah cheat does only exist in HL2. HL1 got Godmode, which obviously isn't used.
The version used is mentioned in the outro. It's WON BS v1.0.0.1.
It's such a shame that Blue Shift is very scripted compared to Opposing Force and HL1. Impressive run, though.
