I got the facepunch buttons, pretty high quality stuff. Yay.
There's an app out called Conventionist. There is an android version on the way if I'm not mistaken. It has maps for the entire event with each booth marked with the name of the exhibitor, it has the entire schedule for PAX with pictures (Of what it will be like), and you can set it up to have reminders for events you want to attend.
More info here.
Needs more posting! Come on! Anyone else planning on going? What's everyone decided to attend?
Please note that I'll be walking around with a cardboard sign. On my back and holding it up. You will find me easily on the show floor, You just gotta look.
Here is where I'll be showing up at the next few days :
Friday: Blizzard Entertainment Booth, Bungine Booth, Mega 64 Booth, Ubisoft Booth (In the first 3-4 hours). Then around 3PM I'll be heading over to the Mega 64 Q&A Session. I should be up front (Since media have separate seats)
Saturday: I'll spend a good hour at 12PM holding up my sign with various stuff to give away (If I have any). I'll have my camera on me, So we can take photos or some shit.
Sunday: Give away day! Loot every booth for their free swag and keep on going! It's like Black Friday without cashiers.

Freekill, were you playing MW2 last night? I said I recognized the name Freekill in a game, and he said "Well, maybe we just got in the same game a few times"
Also, I got the Facepunch Buttons. Just look for the guy with the Facepunch Logo on his shirt! :) I have about 10 of them, so I'll hand a few out.

No, I don't play MW2 that much anymore. Game got very boring after my first nuke.
PS: xBL GT is Bandit Quiche
Just a few more days until PAX.
Are your bodies ready?
If anyone needs a place to stay in the Seattle, WA area, I cannot help you there. Sorry
And yes, I'm ready!

I hope so. Right now, my route to PAX is changing though. Apparently, it'd be better to take the COHO Ferry from Vic-Port Angeles and then Drive east to Seattle rather than take the BC Ferry from Vic-Van and drive South to Seattle.
Welp, here's my last post before I head to PAX.
I have 10 3" Buttons with the Facepunch logo on them. I'll have one on my bag, one on my shirt, and the rest inside my bag for handing out. Look for me walking around, or at the keynote.

I'll be wearing one of these blue shirts with the triangle on it.

It also has writing on the back.
Find me and you win a free Facepunch button.
Have fun everyone, hope to see you all at Penny-Arcade Expo 2010!
I'm going to PAX Prime. Was too late to buy tickets all three days, only got Sunday. I'm very excited, I'm actually fearing that I won't be able to go to all the booths I want to go to.
Re-posting this, just in case.
I can't make it to PAX 2010 (no money, timing is terrible), but I wanted to know if anyone on Facepunch plans on going. Riot Games is going to have a booth there, and they're giving out codes for their game, League of Legends, which unlock in-game skins only available at PAX. We have a lot of people on Facepunch that play (http://www.facepunch.com/showthread.php?t=944574) and that would really appreciate these codes (myself included), so I'm asking if anyone here could get some for me. You could probably go around to different employees and get multiple cards; I doubt they would stop you.
So yeah, if you're going, or if you know anyone that is going, let me know and I'll try to give you some more information as to where they will be during PAX. Thanks.

nah, people got H1N1 at last years PAX.
Yeah, that H1N1 Is serious shit. It's been wrecking havok turning people into zombies, AND IT'S STILL GOING ON NOW DERP DOINK DURRR
Whoooo, Pax is tomorrow. I'll have to come back here and post how it was as not many FPers are going. How sad. I went in 08 and it was a blast.
Update
Currently have 6 passes, for the 5 guys coming with me. We'll being bringing cameras, micrphones and a tripod and doing videos throughout the whole video so I doubt we'll have any issues being spotted out. I'll be holding up a giant cardboard sign (IF POSSIBLE) with my name on FP
FP - FreeKill :siren:
I'll be wearing a green striped shirt, with blue shorts, I'm also wearing converse shoes. I'm not into fashion so I barely dress to impress. I'll be the guy toeing around a tripod and a giant anime themed messenger bag.
Cool, I'll try to go
I'm at pax right now, PC Freeplay room. If anyone is reading this and is at pax, Try to find me. I'm still carrying that stupid sign, It's on a Dominos pizza box however. I forgot to get regular cardboard from home.
Well, I asked someone if they were from FP and they just said yeah and looked really mad/not happy. :(
I couldn't find any FP'ers today.
I'm in the PC Freeplay room right now, If anyone is looking for me head to the back area near the screen and look for computers with paper on the tower with papers that say L3 Or something of the variation. You'll find me wearing green.
PC Freeplay's p full, I'm playing Steel Battalion in a few.
Try it again in a bit, Head to the back near the uh projector on the PC Freeplay area. I'm in the back with the computers with paper numbers on them. I'm wearing a green shirt with three lanyards on. You can't miss it. I'll be carrying a big giant box if I'm standing up.
Comptuer in the backs have papers for the tournament, My number is L3. Look for that computer paper. Or just look for the corner!

Any chance you could get some video of some exciting game?
At the most I can upload my video of Marvel Vs. Capcom 3.
Asides from that, I get in early tomorrow without the crowd so I'll be able to get more film time in.
Incoming Pictures and Results :
ps : I'm posting on an alt right now. I was logged in between other computers and my laptop and I havent used my laptop in a while. So this old account is still logged in.
So, Here's what happened at least for me on Friday. I was able to play Marvel Vs. Capcom 3, The lines for Portal 2, Guild Wars 2, Fallout Las Vegas and a few other games had lines that span over the whole panel. There was no COD:Black Ops and in my opinion Halo : Reach is a giant waste of time, I'll check it out on Sunday when everyone's already played it.
However, I ended up walking around and ending up in the PC Freeplay area where you could get a PC to play on with a bunch of games on it. I saw that TF2 was on it and I hadn't played in a while. Then I remember there was a tournament and entered.
Each match was more crazier then the last, I was playing with these Canadians who had come to PAX this year after driving 20 hours. They seemed to be very good players and they all new eachother. However they were short one player so I stepped in and offered my services as a Medic for hire. (I figured I'd pick a class that I still remember how to play).
Eventually I noticed i'd heal an average of 2-3k of health each life. It was real major gameplay that I had never seen online. My team won and we all won a free PC case, as well as a special trophy necklace thing which represents the PAX 2010 spirit.
(Pictures are below for the Prizes, They were a bit too big so resized them a bit and uploaded. I hope they didn't stretch the page. )

I was voted MVP for the play since I was the reason why we were able to get past the choke points and push to the last point and win with almost 100% flawless 5-0 records for each match up. (5 Rounds).
Good job! I wish I could've went. Guess there's always next year though. Also, what did you mean by "The lines for Portal 2"?
Does that guy with the FP buttons still have some? I can never find any FP'ers on the floor.
I'll be wearing my Reggie Fils-Aime mask tomorrow.
Damn I wish I went this year...Definitely gonna try next year.
PAX was awesome, had to leave at 2:30pm Sunday to make it back at about 9:30pm though. Barely got back 2 hours ago, geez it was a whirlwind of craziness. I'm definitely sad I didn't get in line for more things, and next years I plan to plan more things out, and stay for the entire day Sunday.
Johnathan Coulton was amazing in concert, and surprisingly, not many people went to his booth. Just chatted with him a bit, got an autograph.
Wil Wheaton was also around, huge line-ups for him though.
Booths were great. I got 2 free Fallen Earth Codes, A Free Sword of the Stars code, a LEGO Universe Beta Key, and a free code for Napolean Total War.
Lots of free t-shirts, spent lots of money. Only dissappointment is I went to buy a Logitech G510 and I was short because they only let you pay through credit (Because they are global and have to charge region-specific) so I get hit with an extra 17 dollars in taxes and shit. Then I find out it's not released in Canada yet, so I can't even order it online with my 25% off coupon they gave me. Fuck.
I don't mean to keep posting here, but if any of you guys got League of Legends codes (either from the Riot employees or from your goody bag), I'd really like to know. A lot of people on Facepunch want them, and I was thinking of holding a raffle or something for them. They're codes for "Pax Jax" or "Riot Singed". If you have them, we'd really appreciate them.
Please PM me if you have a spare, or if you know anyone that might have one that they would be willing to part with. Thanks.
Here's our thread if you want to see how many of us play:

As in, the line for the multiplayer demo was about 2 hours long.
BTW, I took the time to get in there, and I also got the shirt.
