DayZ's glory days are long gone When I first played it, it was pretty possible to meet strangers and team up and having things go well. You'd run into a bandit here and there and the bandit skin you took on when you did kill other people made you kill on sight too. It was a lot of fun and there was real tension if you weren't sure the person you were with was going to kill you or not or be a good ally Then eventually they got rid of the bandit skin thing and then the mod got to a point where nobody ever did anything but kill other players and there was no longer tension to meeting someone - because you'll just kill them anyways and they will kill you too. Especially once everyone figured out that zombies aren't really a threat at all if you just run in and play it right. And when everyone knew where all the good shit spawned so it was easy to get uber weapons. I almost wish they'd bring the bandit skin back, as tacky as it was, because it made it so you could at least tell which players did nothing but kill all the time. You knew that people who weren't in bandit skins were either new, or just haven't found the right moment to kill someone else yet, or never wanted to kill anyone else at all. It gave a good tension were you weren't sure if they'd go for your body or not.

Besides, the bandit skin was really annoing, I never shot anyone unless provoked yet I still had a bandit skin most of the time. And bandit skins simply won't work in standalone when you got customized clothing.
I was on NW airfield when I saw two guys running along from hangar to hangar. I tried to attack them with my m4a1 in prone position, and one of the guys quickly turned around and blasted the other guys ass :P i was like wtf, he just killed his own guy and now he is attacking me back. Did he think he was getting backstabbed by him at first or wtf :p
Wasn't rocket's intention that when you enter combat with most players you have a good chance of breaking any gear that they currently got? Like to make people capture and steal instead of pew pew pew/ [editline]22nd December 2013[/editline] God damn it Funion.
