I try to grow my nails out to paint them. But then I always end up biting and breaking them again. It's an endless loop.

I always end up breaking them somehow at work, I'm not really sure how, but I always end up coming home with some chipped up nails. It's really annoying.

I still prefer short nails tbh. A lot of that may be because I play guitar a lot though.

For some reason I really can't stand the sensation of pressure against the tip of long nails you get when you touch anything with them so I like to keep them short-ish

I'm not out to my closest friend at work yet, but lately she's been offering to paint my nails or go out to get them done. At first she said it jokingly but I've since expressed that I'm so fuckin' down. lmao

my nails are really soft and break really easily these days. it's disappointing. I used to have nice long nails a couple years ago...

I've only had long nails for a couple of month long period once, after I forced myself to stop biting my nails by using rubber bands around my elbows and snapping them against the sensetive part of the skin whenever I had my nails between my teeth. They looked nice but they kept getting in the way (especially when using the keyboard) constantly and started chipping so it became difficult to keep them looking symmetrical, which is why I started cutting them down again. I don't bite them too much these days anymore, but I don't let them get long either.

I bite my nails and it's gross and I don't know how to stop. :saddowns:

I want to know what it feels like to have nice manicured pretty nails. :saddowns: But years and years of biting might make it to where that isn't possible.

Also on those same fingers I have rough skin I think you can see in the images. I don't know how to make it heal to normal.

My mom however bites her fingers, like actually her fingers and because of these two doing that, its resulted in me ignoring my nails completely to the degree they grow so long that they end up naturally breaking which in its self isn't good either. But the result is me always having long as fuck natural nails and being able to [I]open all the things.[/I]

I just colour code mine to my hair usually, purple or blue

I have an awful habit and all my nails look really terrible but it's so ingrained into me that by the time I catch myself doing it, I'm basically almost through all of em. It sucks! :frown:

I really want to get my hair styled but I don't know what I want aaaaaa. I kinda want to go short and layered with bangs but I've had long hair for so long and have been growing it out forever, the idea of cutting it short is scary lol.

I want to try a different hair color. But my hair is so dark I don't think anything would be effective

~guess who just got rid of all her old men's t-shirts~ still gotta work on filling the rest of my wardrobe tho!!
