Nobody has to give into guilt tripping. It's a shitty tactic that should be ignored in its entirety. Do what you must even if it means coming off as a dick to the people that are dicks to you.

I like girls clothes, but I couldn't imagine myself wearing them. I want to, but I just don't think it'd work. I wouldn't look good.
And I don't want to put chemicals in my body to change myself. I want to stay me but... I just wish I was born different

last i checked, you can identify as whatever you want (gender being a social construct, etc). i'd go on but i feel like i'd be talking out my ass.

You don't have to do any of those things to be transgender, all you need is to have dysphoria in some form. Also, you put chemicals in your body every day, bio-identical hormones are more natural than most things you eat.

maybe im a cynical selfish fuck but I feel like including ftm transfolk in video games and parading yourself as a paragon of trans inclusion is an easy copout because they just write a male character and give them a more feminine model

Honestly there shouldn't be point in mentioning the fact outright unless they did it for publicity. They could have just left the character's story within the game for the players to learn. But nope, gotta make it announced as to garner media attention.
