what even are "boyfriend" women's clothes
what even are "boyfriend" women's clothes
I think they're meant to be clothes modeled on what girls would wear if they borrowed their boyfriends clothes.
For some reason it's become a fashion.
couldn't you just wear men's clothes in that case?

How do you guys take care of your long hair? I'm planning on having it at least shoulder length hair, but I have no idea how to keep it looking good while growing. Currently I haven't went to a hairdresser for 3 or 4 months and all I do is shampoo and conditioner every 2-3 days (less than that if I don't go out for many days in a row).

Wash your hair and brush it while its under the water, the knots will work though pretty quickly, its how I do mine.
I've been in the process of getting my name changed for a few months now and with all the paperwork I had to sign deadname a lot and it edged on me immediately but after the last form was done and it was getting copied at the courthouse this nice man came out to give it to me and said "congratulations kandace" as he handed it over and I felt so happy I couldn't stop smiling
update: bought a dress and leaving it open makes me look like an emo liquid snake

question, why has it taken you months? everyone I know who went through that process took 2 weeks or less
question, why has it taken you months? everyone I know who went through that process took 2 weeks or less
I had to visit the court house a few times (to post the request, to see if it wasn't contested, to send it to the judge, to have a notice posted after the judge checks it, etc + if it is contested or if medical stuff is needed for verification, in my case I had to show that I was going through HRT), and the minimum time between each visit was around two weeks. I say "months" but it was a bit over two months for me. I think someone said they had to go through six months, so it can end up being a lot longer with complications. I'm not even sure how you could get that done in two weeks. It's probably different in different states too, I'm not sure.
are you also changing your gender legally? because here in ohio they didnt even ask about anything medical or contentions, my friend who changed his name in a transition didn't bring it up once and just said "because I want to" and they had no qualms

Yes, I was able to do that at the same time.
The UK government literally said that "there will be consequences" if trans people were allowed to change their gender without a Gender Recognition Certificate.
I fucking hate our government sometimes.

Did I say sometimes? I meant all the time.

Endocrinology appointment in two hours. I might get prescribed testosterone today, if my blood tests came back good and my mental health records check out as positive (saying my depression/anxiety is under control and I'm not a risk to myself I guess). I really hope I do get to start T today, my last year of Uni starts next week and I'd love to end University having at least started hormones.

Yeah, the consequence would be transgender and non-binary individuals being able to live slightly more comfortably and it'd be easier for people to correct their documentation. What horror. What a shock. Government can't have that. :v: Can't have them transgenderererers being happy and comfortable!
[sp]I hate this government so much[/sp].
sometimes i feel like im the only person who isnt angry at the government
Ugh Getting my legal name and gender changed in illinois is such a fucking long and complicated process. I mean Getting the name changed is one thing but just getting the new documents to reflect that is such a pain in the ass.
Just look at it. http://www.equalityillinois.us/wp-content/uploads/2013/12/Equality-Illinois-Names-Change-Toolkit.pdf
Gives me the worst anxiety.
So this semester I've finally started wearing makeup and I actually feel a lot better with myself and how I look, cause my skin really sucks and is gross.
Makes me wonder how I ever let myself go out before.
I think I look very good with makeup on but I never bring myself to going out with makeup on because I supplement myself to those "are you wearing makeup?" comments that make me feel kinda uncomfortable.
i've never worn makeup b4, shits expensive and confusing as hell
I won't be able to change my gender marker in Oklahoma. They require complete SRS, which I don't want.
